Passed 10+2 exam with Physics and Maths as mandatory subjects and Chemistry / Computer Science / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational Subject / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Enterpreneurship ( Any one subjest ) with at least 45% marks.

Lateral Entry:

Direct admission to second-year B.Tech programme is known as Lateral Entry.

For Diploma holders: Passed qualifying examination from an AICTE approved Institution with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).

For B.Sc. graduates: Passed B.Sc.Degree from recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 45%marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.
