IERT Allahabad Admission Process

Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology (IERT), Allahabad offers admission to the diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses. IERT Allahabad admission to the courses will be done on the basis of the marks scored in the entrance examination. For IERT Allahabad admission to the diploma and PG courses, valid marks in the institute-level examination is considered while the national-level/state-level examination (JEE Main/UPCET) is considered for B.Tech courses. For some courses, students have to appear for an interview. Final IERT Prayagraj admission will be offered after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment. IERT Prayagraj Admission Criteria

IERT Allahabad UG Admissions

Only B.Tech course is offered at the UG level in 7 different specialisations. Computer Science Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial and Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Civil Engineering and others are the specialisation in which IERT offers undergraduate courses. The duration of the course is 4 years and is divided into 8 semesters.

Students will be selected on the basis of the marks scored in JEE Main/UPCET and performance in the counselling.
Students will be selected after the verification of documents and payment of IERT Prayagraj fees.

IERT Prayagraj PG Admissions

The institute offers only 2 courses at the postgraduate level. PGD in Marketing Management and PGDCA are the courses offered by the institute. The duration of the PGDCA is 1.5 years while PGD in Marketing Management is of 2 years.

Currently I am studying in Engineering with Industrial and Production Stream. My Purpose to choose this stream because I want to crack GATE Exams. And in this Stream very less competitors are there for GATE Exams , so that is the reason for this. The quality of teaching is average. My curriculum is based on AKTU University. Basically the jobs offered in this stream is not that much enough.

Overall experience with the college is amazing and fab.

A state-run engineering school in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, called the Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology was founded in 1955. One of India's oldest and most prestigious schools, it provides B.Tech degrees in addition to several Diploma programmes in a variety of disciplines.

The IERT provides three-year engineering/technology diploma programmes. These credentials are available in a number of fields, including plastic technology, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering. The institute also provides a 1.5 year postgraduate degree in computer application and a 2 year undergraduate management diploma. IERT also provides full-time 4-year UG B.Tech degrees in fields including CSE, EC, mechanical engineering, etc. in addition to these programmes.

The annual UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) is the means of admission to the B.Tech programme.
Candidates for the four-year B.Tech programme should have completed the 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry, Math, and English as the required courses.
The IERT entrance test is the foundation for admission to the Engineering Diploma programmes.
Candidates for the three-year Engineering Diploma programmes must have earned a passing grade in math and science in high school (Class 10).
Candidates for the two-year Management diploma programme should have completed the 10+2 examination and studied Hindi and English in Class 10.
The IERT entrance test is used to determine admission to both the management diploma and the post-diploma in computer applications.

iert me admission lane ke liye kitane number chahiye aur kitna percentile chahiye

For Btech applicants, they need to pass 10+2 with Physics and Maths as a compulsory subject and qualify in the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE).
A minimum of 50% in 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as required subjects and Biology or Chemistry as optional subjects for diploma courses. Students also need to appear for the IERT entrance test.
