If any students who have not appeared for GATE need to sit for a departmental test for PG admission. ZHCET Admission Process 2026 for Doctoral Courses 

• Meet the eligibility criteria and apply for ZHCET admissions.
• Eligible candidates need to appear for a ZHCET admission test.
• The total merit will be calculated considering the following factors: performance in the written test(80 marks) and presentation/interview (20 marks).
• It is to be noted that students must obtain a minimum of 50%marks in the written test to appear for the interview.
• Candidates who qualify for NET/JRF or GATE (only for science stream) through the test organised by UGC/CSIR/DBT/ICMR/ICAR/IITs or any other recognised institution need not appear for the written test, as they will be deemed to have obtained 50% marks. These candidates will have the choice to appear for the written test to improve.
• The final selection of candidates is made based on the performance in the written test, presentation cum interview, document verification and payment of ZHCET admission fees.
