The college has 19 blocks in the boys hostel. It can accommodate around 1500 students. The boys hostel has all the necessary facilities like wifi, reading room, multiple mess etc. Financial support is provided to the students that are economically weaker.

Loyola College Chennai girls hostel was established in 2011. The girls hostel is a four storey building with accommodation capacity of 560 students. Students at the girls hostel are provided with amenities like reading room, wifi, mess, indoor game facilities etc.

The central library of the institute has a collection of more than 1,10,000 books and around 82 journals. The library was established in 1930. For the convenience of students, a digital library was established in 2004. There are over 2 lakh e-books and 8000 e-journals for students and staff members.
