PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore Placements

PSG College of Arts and Science Placement Cell plays a role of a mediator between the students and the organisations that are taking part in the placement drive organised by the PSGCAS Placement Cell. PSG College of Arts and Science placement cell organises pre-placement training programmes which will help students to improve their skills to become industry-ready till the end of their course. The placement cell conducts mock interviews for the students which will give insight into how the interview process is conducted. PSGCAS placement cell organises various group discussions to help students to polish their aptitude and technical skills as per the requirements of the recruiters.

According to NIRF 2020 data, for PSGCAS Placements for UG & PG programmes, Out of 2832 UG students, 710 students were placed. For the PG programme, out of 801 students, 139 PG students were placed in the reputed organisations from PSG College of Arts and Science. A total of 1057 UG programme students and 103 PG programme students opted for higher studies after completion of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes from PSG College of Arts and Science. The median package for the UG students was two lakh twenty thousand only and for PG students it was Two lakh fifty thousand only.

A public university, PSG College of Arts and Science, is located in Coimbatore. It has a canteen, labs, a dorm, a health centre, etc.

The cost of the hostel, which includes meals, WiFi, and laundry facilities, is INR 1 lakh per year. The hostel outside is fairly nice and has all the amenities. Each person's meal costs INR 50, and it is possible to have well-balanced meals. With all the amenities, the classroom is of good quality.
