Rajmata Jijau Shikshan Mandal's Arts, Commerce, and Science College, Pune. The college was built with the objective of providing high-quality education in arts, commerce, and science disciplines. Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Com: The course provides 480 seats to the B.Com program at Rajmata Jijau Shikshan Mandal's College. It is majorly based on the candidate's marks obtained in the 12th standard under commerce or equivalent stream. This course gives a thorough knowledge of different aspects of commerce as well as business.
BA: The BA program has an intake of 240 seats, catering mostly to the needs of students interested in the humanities and social sciences. Its admission is based on the 12th standard marks in arts or equivalent stream. The college provides specialization in areas like Economics, English, and History at the postgraduate level.
B.Sc Computer Science: This course has a total of 160 available seats. A candidate who has taken the 12th standard science stream (preferably with Mathematics) is eligible to apply. The admission process takes into consideration the marks obtained in the qualifying exam.
BBA and BBA Computer Applications: Both these programs have 80 seats each. The basis of admission is mostly the performance of a candidate in the 12th standard examination, typically from any stream. These courses are focused on building managerial and computer application skill sets respectively.
M.Com: The M.Com program has an intake of 120 seats. The entrance into the program is done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in their B.Com or equivalent degree. This particular course builds on advanced knowledge base related to commerce and business management.
M.Sc Computer Science and M.Sc Biotechnology: The two postgraduate degrees have 30 and 24 seats respectively. The admission into these courses depends upon the basis of performance in the relevant bachelor's degree of the candidate and may also include a university-level entrance examination.
MA Programs: The college offers the following 60-seat MA programs in three popular specializations of MA: Economics, English, and History. The admission is based on the marks obtained in the bachelor's degree in the particular or related subject by the student.
