Surendranath College offers essential facilities, infratructure and well maintained classrooms , laboratories and a spacious library. While it lacks advance facilities like smart boards, it provides a conducive environment for learning.

This college offers qualified and supportive faculty members who guide students effectively. The curriculum is updated to align with current Industry standards, ensuring students receive relevant knowledge in commerce and finance

Placement opportunities are modest, with a few companies visiting the campus. Approximately, 15-25% of students secure placements, with average package around 2lpa. In my opinion students should try for further studies or certifications to enhance employability.

With an annual fee of around 20k , the program is affordable and offers good value, especially considering the quality of education and faculty support provided but at the same moment this college is not suited for their placements.

The campus life is vibrant featuring various clubs and societies that organize various cultural events and extracurricular activities. While the campus is compact, it fosters a close knit community and provides a decent amount of opportunities.

College has average infrastructure and The library in the new building is large, peaceful, and perfect for studying without any distractions. It has a large collection of study materials and resources for students to make use of. Moreover, the Wi-Fi facility is also good, with no complaints regarding connectivity.

B.Com course curriculum is revised and encompasses topics that are commonly required in a finance, accounting, and business career. The majority of the faculty members have studied from prestigious institutions and have solid academic background. But few of them are good teachers, and at times the quality of teaching varies.

Around 30-50% of the students from the B.Com course get placed, and they are placed mostly in mid-level firms. The maximum package that was offered in the recent placements was about 35 LPA, and the minimum package is between 2-3 LPA. The placements for B.Com students are not as good as in more technical courses, and the majority of students go for higher studies or government job preparation.

A good nfrastructure, accompanied with modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, big libraries, and a sports facilities, is offered. The campus is properly maintained, providing students with a comfortable and resourceful environment.

The academics are well and structured, offering a good theoretical knowledge and practical application. Experienced faculty ensure up to date learning. They provide additional resources like workshops enhance skill development.

The whole process is well-organized, with good companies providing many opportunities during the recruitment. Pre-placement training develops skills for students. The placement cell have an supportive team for an placement experience.

The college have free wifi facilities. Laboratories are well and good. All of the classes are fully digital with projector. The library are very big and many books they have. The college campus is clean. The toilets are hygienic.

The education they provide are good as a government college. I studied here geography honours. The quality of teaching is great. The teachers are very friendly and helpful to all the students. Education is good in this college.

The placement cell is not active. The quality of placements of my college ia average. The percentage of campus placement is 50 percent. The highest salary package they offered are 15000 per month. The placement process easy.

Good college.

I personally feel the infrastucture is much better than most other colleges in Kolkata, It has all the neccessities and provide a great environment for the students studying there. There are library that you can use.

I did my Post graduation and completed it in 2021. The teachers were very supportive and helped throughout the course. The college provide us updated curriculum and makes us prepare for jobs and further studies.

In my opinion, placements needs to be more better. Students get placements but the percentage of students getting placement is very low. Average placement package is 5LPA. Last year it recorded the highest number of placements.

I did my post graduation and graduation from this college. With this low amount of money, students get everything in the college, whether library facilities, Training for jobs, Sports events, Excursion etc.

I had a great college life there. The best part of the college is that the teachers and support staff are very cooperative and always ready to facilitate the students. Seniors are also very supportive. The college is one of the safest college in kolkata.

I had a great time there. Infrastructure is well and good, proper maintained. Departments of science, commerce, Arts and Law were divided into 4 buildings. There is a lawn in between the buildings. A common room is there for students to chill.

I pursued Bcom and quality of education is good. Teachers were very accommodating. Teachers were always ready to help us and we got a great cooperation from them in pursuing the course. They provided us updated curriculum.

Quality of placements is not so good. They provide placements but the placement rate is very low. Students get internships with a package of INR 1LPA to 5LPA. Companies like Infosys, Wipro visit there.

Yes, With so low amount of money, i have got a degree in commerce. Fees is very low there and with that amount of fees you will get a degree and a good education. Not many college will provide such a quality of education in that low fees.

I have spent a great time there, the support staff were very friendly and supportive. I enjoyed there a lot. Students can engage in sports activities like football, cricket etc. And they can also take part in cultural activities, but the best part is their Fest. They invite well known celebrities.

The college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, equipment. Classroom, laboratories are good and well maintained. Sports ground are very clean and regularly maintained. Foods are hygienic in canteen.

I have studied B com Honours for gaining knowledge in commerce background. The quality of teaching is very good and the teachers are very friendly. All the curriculum is updated which includes the recent syllabus.

The quality of placement is developing and the management is working hard for placing he students. Percentage of students placing is increasing day by day. The placement process is easy and pleasant for everyone.

This college is very old. It is near from sealdah station. here all the necessary equipments are available. I don't saw any smart board here but wifi is available. Classrooms are open and big. Laboratories and library also here. Foods are good.

I completed my graduation in b.com from here. Teachers are very helpful. Most of the class I did in online because of the COVID time. I did my some exam in online. Teachers always guide us to do better in study.

This college doesn't provide any placement . Skill up course they recommend to do for better career opportunities . College always support students to do better things in their future . I some college staffs also very helpful.

Yes it is value for money

Campus in which we study is very badly structured. The classes are small in size and always overloaded with students. We even do not have computers in a lab. In the do we have a conditions not we have a library campus. Union is present.

Some faculty stars are good but some stuff behaviour is not good. The curriculum is good for b.com but it does not mix students industry ready and if we talk about it I have experienced it I have heard that it's well managed and good the teachers are good and they also provide only lectures full stop the semester exams are not heart at all and all students can easily faster exam by cheating.

The placement process in our college is very bad hardly any company visit our college campus for recruitment some students are given option of saturated in small scale company however none of them receive and its type and for the work.

Nay early charge is about 5000 in our college it's very less so its is a good deal for every student.

There is no searching a campus life in our college has nobody goes to college.

The teachers of our college are good and qualified the course curriculum is good as it follows official syllabus of Calcutta University. We have semester exams every 6 months. The semester exams are moderately difficult and but the students can easily pass the exam.

The placement process in our college is very bad. Hardly any companies visit our college campus for recruitment. Some students are given internship opportunities in some small scale companies however none of them receive any stipend for their work.

Fees for 1 year in bcom honours is around 10000. The college is great value for money but does not pay a lot of attention on students.

The campus where we studies very small and not very structured students can come many time and attendance is also not very mandatory.
