12 MonthsThe M Phil Program in Social Work offered by CHRIST (Deemed to be University) is a research-based program (research degree) which is meant to produce social work professionals in the most advanced and innovative social work research methods and equip to take up a careers in academics or research, and pursue doctoral programmes in social work. The program aims at providing students with opportunities to examine emerging specialties in the field of social work by employing scientific research methods. The intensive training as part of the M Phil programme will generate interest in evidence-based practice in social work.

Eligibility Criteria
Basic eligibility for the programme is a pass at the Postgraduate level examination with an aggregate of 55% marks or equivalent grade in Social work or relative disciplines from any recognized University in India or abroad recognized by UGC / AIU are eligible to apply.
Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have secured 55% or above aggregate in all the Semesters / Years of Undergraduate Examinations conducted so far. Students writing their final degree examinations are also eligible to apply.

Admissions are done on the basis of Christ University Entrance Test, Academic Performance, and Personal interview.

College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is excellent with a free wifi connection for the students . The campus and the classrooms are so spacious and well maintained with the hygiene . The playground for the physical health .
