Student Reviews

Faculty of Social Work. The best in the whole University

It provides the student an exposure to the field of work, and helps a lot in personality development, teaching how to make use of the resources available around, organize events, deal with people of different kinds and so on. The best thing here is that students are taught not only through theory lectures, but also through practical exposure of 16 hours a week in rural villages, urban NGOs, Industries, and Medical/health field, which is also continuously supervised and evaluated. Here the student-teacher ratio is 10:1. Students themselves have to plan the various events, camps, tours, and other programmes of the faculty, teaching them various aspects of program planning.
