Shoolini University Admissions 2025
ApplyNAAC A+ Grade | Ranked No.1 Private University in India (QS World University Rankings 2025)
Hello Satyaranjan, hope you are doing well.
Your OUAT UG weightage marks calculation is done by the addition of 25% of class 10% + 25% of class 12( PCB or PCM) percentage+ 50% of the marks scored in OUAT CEE exam) which equals to 100.
50% of the marks scored in OUAT CEE exam means that you have to divide your marks scored in OUAT CEE by 4. Because the total marks of the entrance exam are 200 and by dividing it by 4 we will make it 50. And the weightage of the entrance exam will be then counted out of 50. The other 50 marks weightage comes from your 10th and 12th %age.
So, finally your weightage is calculated like this:-
(10th / 4 )+ (12th/4)+ (Entrance Mark/4) =Weightage
An example:-
Suppose your 10th percentage is 95%, In 12th class average mark in PCM is 88%, PCB is 90%, and entrance mark is 100 out of 200.
Then your weightage will be=
(95/4)+(90/4)+(100/4)= 71.25.
Hence, 71.25 is your OUAT weightage. Your merit list is prepared on the basis of this weightage.
Here, 90% from PCB is taken into the calculation because PCB avg. is more than PCM avg. here.
Hope you are clear now.

Hello Aspirant,

Hello Sanjana,
Your OUAT weightage is calculate as follows:-
(10th / 4 )+ (12th/4)+ (Entrance Mark/4) = Weightage
And the 12th class (Average of PCM or PCB whichever is more, the total mark of 12th is not taken into account , only PCM or PCB).
You have not mentioned your PCB/PCM average in your question. So, it is difficult to calculate your weightage in OUAT. Also, your marks scored in the entrance is really less(the weightage will be only 15). And your 10th weightage is 14.75.
So, the combined weightage of both entrance and 10th(not including 12th) is only 29.75. Looking at your +2 % also, it does not seem like your +2 weightage will be more than 20.
So, if I assume your +2 weightage to be 20, your OUAT weighatge will become 49.75 which is really low. You may not even get BSc agri in OUAT Bhawanipatna, but it is hard to tell as the higher rank holders may not accept the seats. So, you may have very less chances in OUAT Bhawanipatna in the last rounds of councelling. OUAT Bbsr is out of question.
Hope this helps:)

Hello Satyaranjan!
Ouat weightage is calculated as:-
25% of % scored in HSC/equivalent +25% of % scored in +2 Sc/euivalent + 50%* of ouat ug cee marks.
(*OUAT entrance mark will have half the value of total weightage. So out of total 100 weightage 50 will be from OUAT marks. And as the total mark of OUAT entrance is 200, so u have to divide it by 4 to get 50.)
I.e, it will be the sum of (1/4)th of marks in the above three exams.
For example, if a candidate have secured 58% in HSC/equivalent, 67% in PCB/PCM in +2 Sc/equivalent and 123 out of 200 in the entrance test, his or her weighted score would be 0.25*58 + 0.25*67 + 0.25*123 =62.00.
(Only PCB or PCM marks of +2 Sc is considered depending on the subject discipline you appear in the entrance test)
Hope you understood.
All the best!

Hello there!
I would like to inform you that, admissions into Veterinary Colleges is done through the AIPVT counselling conducted by VCI (Veterinary Council of India) every year. The seats are alloted on the basis of your NEET score.
It would have been much better if you had mentioned your state of domicile and category in this question.
Keeping in mind the last year's cut off for admissions into Veterinary Colleges, a score above 540 is considered safe.

I was a student of ouat, all the infrastructure in our college is perfect, we have laboratories for respective departments. Lecture Halls are excellent with 100 seated gallery system, Air conditioner and smart board. Ouat library is outstanding and it also has e library along with free wifi.As per the hygiene it need improvement.
The college infrastructure was average but it was located in a safe and convenient area which is close to all daily requirements. Classroom were big enough but they didn't have enough rooms for other facilities.
It has all the necessary infrastructure required to study well. Facilities are provided. Equipments are supplied. Labs are updated with latest technology. Class rooms are air conditioned, with smart boards installed. Wifi is there in college.
