The campus is beautiful . Classrooms have good AC and smart boards . Labs are modern with fast PCs , though a few lag. The library is huge and great for study . WI-FI is fast in blocks but weak outside.
The syllabus covers java and python . Teachers have PhDs and help if you ask . However , they rely too much on slides . The biggest issue is the strict 75% attendance rule , leaving little time for self - study.
Placements are okay here. Mass IT companies visit , but they prefer B.Tech students .B.Sc. students mostly get entry -level support roles . You can get a 3-4 LPA package if your coding skills are strong.
Fees are quite high compared to other colleges. You pay for great labs and the big SOA brand name. But for a B.Sc. degree , the salary you get back makes the high cost feel a bit less value foor money.
Life in our campus is fun. There are many coding and cultural clubs . The students crowd is very friendly . The only downsides are strict rules about uniforms are gate timing , and the hostel mess food is just average.
The college infrastructure is highly overrated. Classrooms are old with broken benches and no proper ventilation. Laboratories have outdated computers that take forever to boot. Wi-Fi is extremely slow and frequently disconnects. The library lacks recent books and reference materials. Sports facilities are in poor condition with damaged equipment. Hostel rooms are small, dirty, and poorly maintained. The canteen food is unhygienic — many students fall sick after eating there. Living spaces are not cleaned regularly, and bathrooms often have no water supply.
I am studying BCA only because I couldn't get admission in a better college. The quality of teaching is very poor — most teachers just read from slides and do not explain concepts properly. The curriculum is outdated and does not include recent developments like AI, Cloud Computing, or Cybersecurity. What we study is completely theoretical and does not make us job-ready. There is very little practical exposure. Assignments are repetitive and meaningless. Exam papers are tough but teaching is weak, so many students fail or barely pass.
Placements at SOA for BCA are extremely poor. Less than 30% of students get placed. Most of them get mass recruiter jobs with very low salaries. The highest package offered was around ₹3.5 LPA (to a BCA student), but that was just one or two students. Average salary is only ₹2 LPA — that too for support roles, not core IT. The placement process was disorganized and stressful. College placement cell is not supportive — they just bring a few companies and leave the rest to students. Most of my batchmates are still unemployed or working in non-IT jobs.
The course fee is around ₹1.2 lakh per year, which is extremely high for the quality of education and facilities provided. We are paying for expensive infrastructure and placements, but getting nothing in return. The teaching is poor, labs are outdated, placements are a joke. I completely regret joining this college. You will not get your money's worth at all. Better to join a smaller college with lower fees and better practical training.
The campus is huge but not well-maintained. Best feature is the greenery, but the worst features are the old buildings, broken roads, and dirty washrooms. There are some student activities like the annual fest, but participation is low because of strict rules. Students are generally okay but teachers and support staff are rude and unhelpful. The location is far from the city; there are no good hospitals nearby in case of emergencies. Security is average — not very strict. Ragging is not common, but senior-junior interactions are minimal. Not a very safe feeling after 7 PM.
I would strongly advise against joining Siksha 'O' Anusandhan for BCA. It is a money-making institution that does not care about student future. Faculty is unqualified, placements are a lie, and infrastructure is poor. Save your money and mental peace — join a government college or a smaller private college with better reviews.
The college infrastructure is really good, clean and calm environment. The labs are all packed with essential devices. The students get the best practical experience . The lab incharges are highly experienced and have a good knowledge.
I am a b.tech mechanical engineering student and having a great experience in SOA,ITER. The faculties are really co-operative and experienced. Overall the acedemics experience is top notch. Will suggest anyone wanting to get admission here.
The placement record are pretty average,as it also depends on the student and the faculties both. But if u study hard , make your all concept clear getting placement is not a big deal ,as many companies come for campus hiring.
The campus life is too good.

For an EE garduate, SOA offers NBA- accredited excellence with a focous on power systems and smart grids. faculty from NIT/IIT backgrounds lead labs in MATLAB,IoT , and control systems. The 2026 curriculum bridges core electrical concepts with automation, ensuring strong placement in firm like Tata Power and Schneider
SOA boasts a 95% placement rate for B.Tech and MBA grads. Top recruiters like Microsoft , deloitte , and Tata Power offer packages averaging 5-7 LPA, with highs reaching 46 LPA the 2026 cycle shows strong hiring in automation and finance.
Infrastructure is preety good and well maintained. All classroom are equipped with all necessary and emergency facilities. All the buildings are equipped with lifts fully functional all rooms are fully air conditioned.
Academics are also preety good here ,as you get quizes , group discussion and obviously assignments which are to be honest not lengthy. The syllabus is also well defined and divided semester wise. It doesn't put burden on the child.
Placements are also decent enough here ,I think almost of the batch gets placed to somewhere or the other.Almost every company comes here like Amazon ,Samsung ,flipkart, Microsoft, accenture, Infosys, etc.
It's a complete value for money college ,I don't find any college with such facilities in such a low cost. So it's absolutely value for money.I got CSE core here for just 11.80Lakhs. They also have some amount of scholarship.
Campus life is kind of decent , like for the freshers there are restrictions like the gates get closed for them after 9:00 pm and many more but the things get linieent after 1st year.
If you want a college in your budget that also provides you with decent placement then go for it.
The infrastructure of this college is quite impressive. The campus feels spacious and well-organised, which makes moving between classes and departments pretty convenient. The buildings are modern, with most of the classrooms equipped with projectors and proper ventilation, which really helps during long lectures. .
ITER offers a strong academic environment with experienced faculty and well-structured courses. The syllabus is industry-oriented and labs are well equipped. Regular workshops and seminars enhance learning, though more focus on research opportunities could benefit students.
ITER College offers excellent placement opportunities with top companies visiting regularly. The placement cell is supportive and guides students well, resulting in strong job offers and internships that help launch careers confidently.
The infrastructure is very good here. There are well established buildings and all, the classrooms are also good here, there are AC in the classroom and well maintained water purifier is there. Overall it's all good.
Professor here is good and here everything is almost good but sometimes it's may hectic for students if they don't follow up accordingly and during their exam they might get issue while studying otherwise it's well and good.
Placement here is good. An average placements of 9 lacs is here and if you're good at it you will get more than you expected here. You can also get opportunities of internship and all. Which also gives a kick in your resume.
Great and large campus space. Good and fine architecture all through out, beautiful gardens which keeps the joyful and peaceful environment in the University. Good quality classrooms, labs and auditoriums.
Professional teachers with good experience of the industry. They are mostly very friendly and helpful. Good industrial exposure and academic events like corporate guest invite and quizzes, which gives a good hands on experience to students.
Not available for everyone, mostly the job profile doesn't match the students qualifications. Doesn't serve justice for the fees paid, as not so good companies visit. On the initial days they take class for preparation but that's also discontinued eventually.
Dear Aspirant,
SOA:-
Placements: Majority of students placed during the campus placement in the college. The highest package was around 21LPA (Lacs per annum) and average package was around 4.5LPA for last year. Top recruiting companies are like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant etc. Campus Placements is good in this college.
