Bachelor of Science in Community Science Hons is a four-year full-time course offered by Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification: +2 Science with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate including extra optional. (for SC/ST/PWD candidates is 40%).
Subjects in +2 Science: P.C.M. or P.C.B.

Admission Details

There will be a Common Entrance Examination for selection of the candidates for admission into B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc.(Hons.) Horticulture, B.Sc.(Hons.) Forestry, B.F.Sc., B.V.Sc. and A.H., B. Tech.(Agril. Engg.) and B.Sc.(Hons.) Community Science courses. The candidates for admission will be selected solely on the basis of Merit (Weighted Score) which is based on his/her academic career and performance in the Entrance Examination. If two or more candidates secure the same computed score, the tie shall be resolved and their merit positions will be decided on the basis of higher marks in the Entrance Examination or +2 Science or HSC/ equivalent in that order.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure was average but it was located in a safe and convenient area which is close to all daily requirements. Classroom were big enough but they didn't have enough rooms for other facilities.

I loved the 4 years I studied here.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is average but still the facilities provided are great. Sufficient for the students to go about the completion of their course. The college has a Central Library where students can sit and study. It encompasses books on nearly every Agricultural subject. It has a gym, a sports centre and the hostels have wifi and a gym too. Washing machine is provided and the hostel rooms are comfortable.
