The university offers admission to courses at two levels. These are the UG and PG levels. Sambalpur University admissions are offered to a total of 60 courses. Admission to PG courses is done on the basis of the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) and viva-voce. 30 marks weightage is also given to work experience. For admission to the M.B.A course candidates have to appear for the MAT entrance examination.
