About SAU Delhi
South Asian University (SAU) came into existence with the aim to percolate a South Asian consciousness, in Master's and PhD level programmes in Economics, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Applied Mathematics, Sociology, International Relations and Legal Studies. The university was established in 2010, by the government of the eight-member nations of South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC). These nations include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The university offers post-graduate and doctoral programmes in various disciplines that include economics, computer science, biotechnology, mathematics, sociology, international relations and law. SAU degrees are recognised by all the eight SAARC countries.
Location: South Asian University (SAU) is situated at Akbar Bhawan, Satya Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, Delhi. The university is about 14 km away from the Indira Gandhi International Airport. The nearest railway junction is Hazarat Nizamuddin Railway Station, which is 9 km away from the SAU. Student can also take the facility of DTC bus services to reach the university from any part of Delhi. The nearest metro stations are Lok-Kalyan Mag, Udyog Bhavan and Jor Bag Metro stations, which are connected by various metro lines of the capital and NCR.

SAU Delhi Admissions
South Asian University (SAU) offers post-graduate and doctoral programmes in various disciplines that include economics, computer science, biotechnology, mathematics, sociology, international relations and law. SAU degrees are recognised by all the eight SAARC countries. The university reserve the 50% seats for Indian students, while 50% of seats are distributed among the SAARC countries and others. Students from outside the SAARC region do not have to take an entrance test and will be admitted on the basis of their past performance. Hi dear,
Admission to PHD course in International Relations in South Asian University, Delhi consist of 2 phases. The first phase consist of written entrance exam and the second is interview. The entrance exam consist of 50 question of 1mark each which is to be answered in a time span of 2 hours. The syllabus consist of questions from general knowledge pertaining to South Asia and the world.
After clearing Entrance Test and you'll be shortlisted for interview and will have to furnish two letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose, a detailed research proposal and face an interview.

Research Methodology:
