Allahabad University Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

Allahabad University has historic but aging buildings, spacious grounds, and a strong academic vibe. However, many facilities need modernization, better maintenance, and upgraded classrooms and hostels.

Allahabad University offers strong academics in arts, sciences and law with experienced faculty and rich research culture. However, course updates, practical exposure and administrative efficiency need improvement.

Placements at Allahabad University are moderate; top departments see better offers, but overall opportunities are limited. Many students rely on exams or higher studies due to fewer recruiters. College must give chances more

College's fee is very low and that's very affordable for all and one year fee is payable at one time only

The commerce faculty is very small and not that attractive campus it has

My colleage is all the necessary information infrastructure facilities me Science facilities, arts facilities, equipment, everything is the best, there is English medium and Hindi medium also and there is no problem in studies.

There is a lot of academics in my college, there is no technical issue. It is very much the best, there is no problem, everything is provided, there is no problem, University of Allahabad is the best

My college has a large playground for students to sit on after classes. It is a very big place Although there are place axes in this university, but University of Allahabad is the best university where very good facilities are provided to the students.

3000 par year

College campus life is the best college me bahut hi acha lagta hai teachers or friends bahut supported hote hai I like this teachers and friends koi program ho to sab bahut ache se ek sath karte hai ?

My college is very good, everything is very good and college life is very good, some subjects are such that they are very useful in future and the professors help the students a lot.

Good and great ???? college. Help to learn more skill and the teacher are also great. They are also help to students for studies and find a best career option that help to their future and becoming a good

Good teacher that explain with high topics in short and simple to explain it. The best study to help them in simple terms with some interesting and best to learn the teacher and also provide I best content

This college not provide a placement.Active but not as strong as top IITs, NITs, or private universities. Students often have to put in extra effort for internships and job hunting. Help teacher to future jobs

80% of college is value for money but the placement is wrong. Some departments have excellent professors, but there is a shortage of permanent faculty in certain streams. Guest lecturers are common, which can affect the quality of learning.

Good campus and student where also connect to becoming a friend and help to future and jobs and also help a skills that would be the best things and the campus is very long and best facilities available in the college

Good college and there facility is also good and teacher also good . AU is perfect for students who value learning, research, and affordability over luxury facilities. If you are self-driven and use available opportunities, you can build a great career from here — but you will need to be proactive about internships, projects, and networking.

the infrastructure of this university is best which gives the old building feels and the enviornment is good and the classroom is average in some departments the external view gives good and better feel.

campus life is good.

The college infrastructure is very good and classroom are very good and all the facilities are available. Campus environment is very good and very peaceful and greenery across the campus. Sanitation are good.

Academica are very good all the facilities are well trained and experienced. Every faculties comes from the different and highly reputed universities. Faculties are very supportive and very helpful towards the students.

There is no any kind of placement provided from the universities. There is no any placement cell in our program. As it is a not a professional course it is regular course so you have to go for higher studies for job.

Aa it is govt universities everyone can afford it.

Campus overall good

The college has good infrastructure but not as compared to other private universities , as it is government university you get all facilities like smart classroom and labs. There is problem in sanitation and washrooms.

Academically it is very good the faculties of every department is well educated and experienced. They all have come from the top institutions like IIT ies as well as foreign universities like Cambridge.

As the course I pursue it is a traditional course you don't get any campus placement from the university, in other course there is placement cell they get placement from our university. In my course you have to do higher study.

As it is govt university any of poor class can afford it

Overall all campus life is satisfactory.

The college infrastructure is as it is a govt college it is not too advance but it is good there is projector in classes and have advance labs and have proper drinking water and sanitation. At all it is good.

The faculties is very advanced and have immense knowledge of there respective subject. All faculties are well qualified and have foreign universities exposure. The teaching methods is also good. Acadmic is best.

Sadly there is no any placement for this course. As it's a traditional course not any placement cell in our college, you have to go for higher studies for the job , this is a traditional course and research course so you have to go for higher education for good jobs like professors.

As it is govt college the fees is very low. Anyone can afford from lower classess also.

Overall all good experience.

The infrastructure is quite student-centric — modern labs, seminar halls, and a spacious auditorium for events. The overall environment is well-maintained and gives both academic and extracurricular exposure.

Academics here are overall good. Teachers often encourage group discussions, projects, and presentations, making learning more interactive. Commerce, Eco, and Science courses are especially highly regarded.

The placement cell is not so much active, not providing workshops, resume guidance, and interview prep. Not Many students secure internships as well as full-time offers, especially in well known company.

Allahabad university is very old college which is also known as Oxford university of India. This college has very large campus with very asthetic infrastructure like old fort.Classrooms are well developed ,labs have modern equipment and has green environment.

This college has experienced and supportive faculty almost in every department. This college is mostly famous for art stream. They have strong background in the field of art stream. For PHD students they offer best research papers helps students to research, provide information to students for better understanding

This college doesn't have active placement cell students are also not interested in on campus placement .Graduate students of this college mostly prepare for government exams. Hence the placement ratio is very low in compare to other university.

Yes ,I feel this college is good according to their fees structure.Fees structure of this college is approximately 15k to 20k.

Campus life is lil bit boring. It only focus on academic not in extra curriculum.

The University of Allahabad, one of India’s oldest and most respected institutions, offers a well-established campus with the infrastructure needed to support academic excellence and student development. The campus is spacious and historic, featuring a mix of heritage architecture and modern facilities. Classrooms are adequately equipped for teaching, and the central library boasts a vast collection of books, journals, and e-resources. Laboratories for various disciplines are functional and cater to practical learning needs. Sports grounds, hostels, and other student amenities are available, though some facilities reflect the institution’s age and could benefit from modernization.

Academically, the university maintains a strong reputation. Its diverse range of courses is designed to provide a solid foundation in both theoretical knowledge and applied skills. Faculty members are experienced in their respective fields, with many actively engaged in research. The teaching approach combines traditional lectures with seminars, projects, and occasional industry interaction, ensuring that students develop both academic understanding and critical thinking abilities.

Placement opportunities vary by course, with professional programs like law, commerce, and science seeing better industry linkage. While the university has a placement cell, students often complement its efforts by pursuing internships and networking independently. Many graduates secure positions in respected organizations or go on to excel in civil services, research, and higher education.

In terms of affordability, the University of Allahabad offers excellent value for money. The fee structure is highly reasonable compared to private institutions, making quality education accessible to a broader section of students.

Student life at the university is vibrant, with numerous cultural, literary, and sports events taking place throughout the year. The campus environment blends academic seriousness with social and cultural diversity. The city of Prayagraj adds to the charm, with its rich history and relatively affordable living costs.

Overall, the University of Allahabad provides a blend of heritage, academic rigor, and cultural vibrancy. It is a strong choice for students seeking a respected degree from a historic institution that continues to contribute significantly to India’s intellectual and professional landscape.
