I completed my BSc in Statistics from BHU in 2024. I chose this course because of the prestigious reputation of the Department of Statistics (DST) and my interest in the growing field of Data Science. Quality of Teaching: The teaching quality is excellent. The professors are highly experienced and approachable. They focus heavily on building strong conceptual clarity rather than just rote learning, which is crucial for a subject like Statistics. Curriculum & Job Readiness: The curriculum is well-structured and quite updated. It balances theoretical papers like Probability and Inference with practical applications. We were introduced to programming languages like C and R, which are very relevant to recent developments in the field. Does it make you job-ready? Yes, absolutely. The rigorous training provides a solid foundation for roles in data analytics and also prepares you well for higher studies or exams like ISS. The course equips you with the analytical skills that the industry demands today.

The quality of placements at BHU is excellent, but it honestly depends entirely on the department and the subject you are studying. Since I completed my BSc in Statistics, I should be clear: there are hardly any placements for Bachelor's students. The curriculum at the undergraduate level is designed to build a foundation for higher studies, so most of us opt for a Master’s degree instead of a job. However, the scenario changes completely for MSc students. In departments like Statistics and Computing, the placement rate is very high, often crossing 80-90%. The highest packages usually go to MSc Statistics or Geophysics students, reaching around 16–20 LPA, while the average salary stays around 8–10 LPA for these top courses. The University Placement Cell is active and supportive, but their efforts are mostly focused on postgraduate students. So, while the process is smooth and the college is helpful, you generally need to complete your Master's to unlock these opportunities.

My BSc in Statistics at BHU was incredibly affordable. The annual fee was just around ₹3,200, which is practically nothing compared to other universities. Was it worth it? Absolutely. It was 100% worth it. For that small amount, you don't just get classes; you get access to the Cyber Library with free high-speed Wi-Fi, a massive sports complex, and even free medical facilities for students. The BHU campus is honestly magical. It is huge, lush green, and peaceful—it feels like a separate, beautiful world inside Varanasi. Best & Worst: The best part is definitely the vibe; walking near the Vishwanath Temple (VT) or just sitting in the gardens feels amazing. To be honest, I haven’t had a single bad experience or "worst" feature here; everything has been smooth and positive for me. Activities: Campus life is super active. There are tons of clubs and societies for photography, drama, debating, and sports. The students are very engaging, and there is always some event, fest, or competition going on to keep you busy. People & Safety: The crowd is diverse and very friendly. Teachers and support staff are generally helpful. Regarding safety, it is extremely safe. The campus is gated with its own security, so you feel completely secure moving around, even late at night. It’s truly a great place to be.

I like my college infrastructure, it good, its not top but it good all the building are highly maintain , and hygiene is there too , and all other necessary needs like healthcare , road , electricity but transport is an issue which can be solved by a 2nd hand cycle cause roads are good

I like studying here ,all the professor are highly educated and well known, all are phd holder ,not 1 but 2-2 phd holder are there too , and they are very supportive which help us motivate to learn and to thrive

WELL as a new comers i dont about much about placement as per my knowledge or as i heard there are many company which provide placement through our college its very well know institude so , placement are good overall, but its depends on the student at the end

As for course fees i was in shock ,cause i thought first deposit was for 1 year but as i learn its per sem, but as i compare the fees with other college i can see a huge difference like like it worth of money and cheaper then other colleges

As a campus its self all the fellow batch mates are nice , and for senior all are very helpful and all the gaurds are very conscious of our surrounding and our teaching all very helpful and motivating

All the facilities are very good in our campus. Very good infrastructure along with security is very high military is buffering around every time but some seniors are dickheads they think himself oversmart but they are not .

Very friendly professor and I can assure you studying in this campus isn't regretting.Be ready for the lots of assignment because professors can't let you enjoy more than a single day. Every time you is enjoyable.

Lots of MNCs comes every year so placement offers is very good.last yaar our clg package goes upto 7 cr according to sources.but we don't hear about these sources from anyone.so come to our on your own risk.

Cost of the course goes upto 1 lakh .but the facilities are very good infrastructure is very good.antiragging committe is very helpful so don't worry about all the dickheads.mess is very good and experienced chef is out there .

Very good atmosphere, stadium with good facilities,zym with equipped machines. Cafeteria and stores are there for refreshment and daily needs.Bhai ladkiya bhi acchi khaasi hai so don't be worry you don't need to masturbate if you comes to our college.

Colleges infrastructure is so exciting it tell about it own past history. That tell avout what blood is taken from its own . College has lab libraries smart class computer labs . There are e library .

Collegeis so much good in studies and so much discpline is followed in college . Teacher are so much interacting. Curricular is most up to date to industry and marks are give by exams there are exams .

In college fees matter, the all facilities, faculties, labs and placement cells are very organised well. Overall all students have good charactersand qualitys for education and experienced are equivalent to fees

Campus Life is very recommended for every student for making the new friends.My campus is very neat and clean and it provides the sports facilities.Clubs , fest and different types of workshops are held there for increase the students

Best infrastructure for students to get faculty according to course and different colleges to study particular course. Labs are also too good all faculty labs have all the equipment to provide student according to practical.

Professor of the BHU are knowledgeable and have many skills too. They always give more and more knowledge to students related to course and also related to genral knowledge which is required as students in life.

Placement are done, if we have good CGAP definitely we will have good Placement where we want to go. After studing in BHU we will get many opportunities to get placement iin different states and countries.

The infrastructure is well maintained and the classrooms are also equipped with all the required and latest tech equipments. The hostels are also ok but the food is great and hygenic . The wifi facility works well according to the students' requirements.

Wonderful teachers , experienced and knowledgeable about the subject. No one can complain about the quality of education that is provided here.Being a central university BHU offers all this in the lowest cost possible making knowledge affordable for almost everybody.

With placements too Bhu does a great job. You will get many job options offers many jobs from a variety of companies .The package you get is is also nice but definitely depending upon your capabilities.

My campus is so authentic and so wonderful. It is like that we are studying in old palace big classroom etc . In my campus all things are huge and very scientific. In my campus there are so many trees with different species

In academic my campus ranking is in all india 5 and nirf ranking is 4 and there are very good faculty and different institutions are there and in my campus very strict in studies that make students more sharp.

College has nice view and infrastructure. It have own dairy farm and poultry farm . It has personal modified lab and there is several clinics and also about there is several research centre that have different instruments etc

In academic all professor are phd graduate and highly qualified doctor. There name are like heroes in vetneary field. In academic all professor are very strict and there all exams have 4 internal and 2 external that is very hard
