The infra structure is pretty average just gets the job done , some aspects can be improved significantly , the washrooms , class room furnitures etc other than that it is pretty normal for a government college
Academics is also very average the quality of academics again depends on the choice of department , every department pretty decent faculty for the most part , however there is lack of good study material especially it is sorley lacking in english
As doing a non professional course , don't have first hand experience regarding the placements however looking at the management and engineering and law students of the university , would say the placements are pretty mediocre compared to top management and law colleges in the country
Talking about my college experience, it took me back to my LU days again. Infrastructure of the university embodies historic architecture alongside modern facilities like well-equiped labs, spacious classrooms and renowned Tagore library. Extensive amenities such as diverse indoor n outdoor sports complexes, separate hostels n health centre.
LU has been known for it's rich academic legacy, political influence and being the first public university in U.P to earn an A++ NAAC accreditation. LU is highly regarded for its pioneering programs and prominent alumni and is the first university in India to introduce degree courses in Political science, public administration and astronomy.
LU offers a decent placement scenario with average package depending on the course and the percentage earned by the students. Top well known recruiters include Deloitte, IBM, ONGC, Infosys, Amazon etc.
This university offers good value for money with affordable tuition fee compared to private universities or colleges.
LU portrays a vibrant campus life set in a lush green environment. Students enjoy academics n active extra curriculars together.
Infrastructure is good. Architecture is beautiful. very scenic and picturesque. Some buildings may be a bit old and need maintenance. But otherwise good experience. My building FMS was new and infrastructure was good.
It is good to have an MBA at such a prestigious university and that too without being too heavy on the pocket. Academics are decent. Syllabus needs to be updated a bit though. Rest ok. 5/5. Highly recommend.
Placements anywhere between 3 to 7 lakhs per annum. They have a minimum threshold under which they don’t offer placements. Rest the Placement team run by students works very hard. And internships too are provided by them.
You can’t get a professional degree at such a price. Scholarship programs are also available. Besides LUMBA has a prestigious history. 10/10 value for money if you want a degree from here!!! Must attend classes as attendance is strict.
Our college have all the facilities and equipment... But they can't maintain the same... Classrooms are very small in the new building... There are good laboratories along with good facilities as well All the computer labs have wifi ... Smart boards are there in auditoriums only And food spaces and washroom are very unhygienic
I have completed my second year of BTech. CSE -AI at University of Lucknow. Quality of teaching right is average... They take classes, provide notes, but won't actually deliver the lectures very accurately Curriculum here is updated and according to NEP ... But you still have to put your own efforts to become industry ready... You can't solely rely on professors here
Most of the on campus placement are basically in HCL tech...(2-3 LPA average) And if anyone gets placement at good company... It's totally upto their efforts and hard work Mostly... The students of CSE ECE and CSE -AI students get placed from B. Tech. And some of the students from BCA as well
The fees for btech CSE -AI here is 162000... And it very expensive compared to the placements and skills they offer
There is club activities... Which is highly engaging for students to perform... And it boost their confidence as well. Seniors and teachers are good and helpful... But only if you able to maintain the respect and boundaries. Location is safe... But still you have to stay aware of the creeps

For the amount students pay in fees the university offers a satisfactory overall experience. Academic, campus facilities and the reputation of the institution make it a cost effective choice for many students.
The university has a lively campus with enough opportunity for social and academic engagement. Culture event, seminar contribute to a well rounded students experience.
Placement opportunities could be better. Most students appreciate its affordability and educational quality.
I studied LLB at this university and my experience with the campus facilities was positive. The university provides a good academic environment along with the resources needed for legal studies. The library was very useful for research work and exam preparation. The classrooms were adequate for lectures and interactive sessions.
My time as an LLB student at this university was academically satisfying. The teaching approach was student-friendly, and most faculty members were dedicated to helping students understand legal subjects. The curriculum covered a wide range of topics and provided a good balance between theory and practical understanding.
As an LLB student at this university, my experience with placements was average. The university offered basic career support and guidance, but students were generally expected to take initiative in exploring job and internship opportunities. Some law firms and organizations did recruit students, although the overall number of opportunities was limited.
The department offers a quiet and research-friendly atmosphere with comfortable study spaces, a library, and access to digital resources. The campus environment is peaceful and suitable for long research work.
The PhD program encourages original research and critical thinking. Supervisors provide valuable guidance, and seminars, presentations, and academic discussions help scholars refine their ideas and research skills.
The university offers good academic and career support for research scholars. Many PhD graduates move into teaching, research, media organizations, or policy roles, with opportunities growing through their work and publications.

Overall fine so far
THE UNIVERSITY OF LUCKNOW COVERS 223 ACRES IN TOTAL IN WHICH OLD CAMPUS IS IN 147 ACRES AND NEW CAMPUS IS IN 76 ACRES.OLD CAMPUS IS BIGGER THAN THE NEW CAMPUS BUT INFRASTRUCTURE MAINTENANCE OF OLD CAMPUS IS POOR AS COMPARED TO THE NEW CAMPUS.BUILDINGS IN OLD CAMPUS REQUIRE PROPER MAINTENANCE AS WELL AS WASHROOMS ALSO NEED RENOVATION. HOSTELS ARE RENOVATED BUT STILL QUALITY IN THE MESS FOOD IS SAME AS IT WAS EARLIER WHICH USUALLY LEADS TO BAD HEALTH.CLASSROOMS ARE SAME AS OLD AS IT WAS AT THE TIME OF OPENING OF THE UNIVERSITY.NO MAINTENANCE IN CLASSROOM.
THE QUALITY OF STUDYING AT LUCKNOW UNIVERSITY IS THE WORST. PROFESSORS ARE NOT PUNCTUAL WITH THE TIMING OF THE CLASS AND ARE NOT CONCERNED ABOUT THE FUTURE OF THE STUDENT. MOST OF THE TIME, THEY AVOID TAKING THEIR REGULAR CLASSES, INSTEAD SENDING THEIR SUBORDINATES TO TAKE THE CLASS. THEY HAVE A CASUAL ATTITUDE TOWARDS THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES.NO CHANGE IN CURRICULUM.
PLACEMENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY ARE DECENT ONLY BECAUSE IT IS A STATE UNIVERSITY, AS WELL AS BECAUSE IT GOT AN A+ GRADE; IT CAN BRING SOME GOOD COMPANIES TO THE CAMPUS. OTHERWISE, ITS STANDARD IS TOO LOW FOR A STATE UNIVERSITY. AVERAGE SALARY IS 4.5 LAKH
The university has a peaceful campus with a good library, research spaces and well-maintained departments. The basic facilities are available for PhD scholars, though a few areas can be improved for overall development.
The academic environment is serious and research focused. Guides are knowledgeable and encourage independent work, while seminars and discussions help scholars improve their understanding and skills.
Placement opportunities for PhD scholars are decent, especially in teaching and research roles. The university provides career guidance, but many students also apply independently for academic and industry positions.
