High placement benchmarks: A CSE student recently secured a ₹27 LPA placement, a record for the university. The Times of India In technical and professional programs, placement percentages and packages have been improving.
Best education provided according to fees. As I am in BSC which cost approx 6000 per semester.
Many students value the government university vibe, academic focus, and lower fee structure compared to private colleges. Friendships, cultural activities and group learning are often cited as highlights.

University of Lucknow, Institute of Management Sciences Gallery Lucknow University (LU) offers a vibrant campus life with a mix of academics, cultural events, and student activities, centered around its main campus and newer facilities, featuring annual fests like "LU Fest" with music, dance, and literary events, plus participation in city-wide celebrations like the grand Lucknow Mahotsav, all fostering a strong Awadhi cultural connection, though specific hostel rules on dress code exist for residential students.
The college infrastructure is good overall and meets most student needs. Classrooms are spacious with proper seating and working fans or AC in some blocks. The campus is clean and well maintained. Library has enough books and reading space, though it gets crowded during exams. Labs are decent and equipment works fine, but a few need upgrades. Wi-Fi is available but speed is average. Sports facilities are okay, not the best but usable.
Most teachers explain concepts clearly and help when asked. Classes happen regularly and the syllabus is mostly completed on time. If you attend lectures and study on your own, exams are manageable. Practical exposure could improve, but overall academics are reliable and balanced.
Placements are good and improving every year. Most students who put effort get placed. Companies are mainly average with a few good recruiters. Packages are decent for freshers, and the placement cell provides proper guidance and support. Overall, a reliable start for careers.
The fees are reasonable compared to other colleges, and you do get the basics that matter. Classrooms are decent, library is usable, and teachers mostly explain things properly if you attend classes regularly Placements are not outstanding, but average students can get opportunities if they work on skills from their side. Campus facilities are okay, not luxury level.
Campus life is good and balanced. The campus is clean with enough space to chill between classes. Events and clubs keep things active. Facilities are decent, friends are supportive, and overall it feels comfortable and enjoyable. A solid 4-star experience.
The college has a large campus with beautiful buildings woth modern amemities. The college also has a huge play ground for football, basketballball. The college has a canteen and many options for college hostel also.
The college has a supportive and knowledgeable learning environment and supportive staff. The college has good placement opportunities which vary according to streams. The syllabus is also very relevant.
The college has a very good placement rate. The college has a placement cell which helps students with placements and internships. Many multinational companies visitthe campus every year and many students get placed.
The college has a good value for money It has relatively low fees. Yhe teachers are very cooperative and supportive. The college has many facilities and also there is a good placement rate which makes the fees worth paying.
The college has a lot of greenery. The campus life is very vibrant with many extracurricular activities. The college conduct many cultural activities and fests abd departmental events which make it vibrant.
The campus infrastructure honestly feels well thought-out and mostly student-friendly. Classrooms are spacious with proper ventilation, smart boards, and comfortable seating that actually make long lectures bearable. The library is one of the strongest points—quiet, resource-rich, and rarely overcrowded, perfect for both exam prep and casual reading.
Academics here feel structured but not suffocating. Most professors know their subjects well and explain concepts with real-life examples, not just textbook lines. Classes are regular, the syllabus usually finishes on time, and doubt-solving sessions actually help before exams. Internal assessments are fair, though sometimes a bit repetitive. If you attend lectures seriously and do self-study, scoring well isn’t difficult. It’s not an overly competitive academic environment, but it gives you a strong base if you’re genuinely willing to learn.
Placements here feel reliable rather than flashy. Most companies visiting are decent, with a good mix of mass recruiters and a few core firms. The placement cell is active and keeps students informed, though you still need to put in personal effort—nothing is spoon-fed. Average packages are fair for the college’s level, and if you have strong skills, chances of landing a better offer are real. Overall, placements give confidence and security, even if they don’t promise dream packages to everyone.
The fees feel justified when you look at what you actually get—decent classrooms, functional labs, a usable library, and enough campus facilities to support daily student life. It’s not overly fancy, but it doesn’t pretend to be. Teachers are mostly supportive and knowledgeable, especially when you show genuine interest. Placement support is fair for the fees charged, and skill-based learning opportunities exist if you actively seek them out. Overall, the college delivers solid returns on investment, making it a sensible and practical choice rather than an expensive gamble.
Campus life here feels alive without being overwhelming. The campus is clean, green, and active, with enough space to breathe between classes. Friendships form easily—mostly in the canteen, library corners, and during random cultural events. There are regular fests, club activities, and sports meets that keep things interesting, though not every event is perfectly managed. Facilities are good overall: classrooms are decent, Wi-Fi works most days, and common areas stay lively till evening.
The campus and many department buildings are nice and tidy and certain department have been recently renovated. Classroom, libraries, and at least some labs are functional. Medical facilities on campus are minimal.
Classroom and basic facilities are good, library space or resource availability may feel limited (specially compared to more professionally oriented institutions). Programs lacks practical exposure even though academic structure is solid.
Placement support for b.com honours appears inconsistent. Average placement tend to be modest which will be around ₹3 to 4 LPA. A few may get higher depending highly on their personal skills, interviews.
LU can be reasonable and value for money option for bcom honours especially for student seeking and affordable, recognised degree with access to campus life. However if your main goal is a high paid job right after graduation you should be prepared to put an extra effort beyond regular classes.
LU appears active in terms of campus life there are regular events, sports, extracurriculars, and fests . If you are motivated and manage your time well, you can pursue academy plus other interest like sports and cultural, clubs.
Lucknow University offers a good overall experience for bcom honours, specially for student seeking and affordable and reputed public sector degree. It provides a strong foundation in commerce subject like accounting economics business law and finance. Many faculty members are well qualified and teaching quality is generally good do slightly inconsistent across departments.
Our classrooms are good. Playground is available, and we also play basketball on campus. It provides a huge library, and several books are available. The canteen food is okay, not the best but manageable.
The curriculum of the course is also very relevant and enables students to get ready for their work environment. They also organise classes like grooming and communication labs to prepare students for interviews.
Very few companies come specifically for IT roles, and most students have to search for jobs on their own. Practical exposure is missing, so students don’t feel industry-ready after completing the course. The placement cell needs to work much harder if they actually want to secure a future for BCA students.
It is quite big and beautiful basically represents our past. Infrastructure is ild built and hence holds a lot of memory . Our Tygore library is so big and has so many books to study. The environment is very pretty and unique
