Lucknow University campus is very big and old with heritage buildings. Classrooms are average, library is good. Canteen, parking and ground facilities are available. Overall infrastructure is okay but needs some renovation.

Teachers are knowledgeable and classes are regular but teaching is mostly theory based. Syllabus is a bit old. You need to study on your own for exams. Attendance is strict. Overall academics are average but okay if you are regular.

As I dropped out in 2nd year I didn't sit for placements. From what I heard from seniors, for B.Com there are not many good placements from college side. Mostly students have to find jobs or internships on their own.

Fees for B.Com is very affordable as it's a government university. For that fee, you get a big campus, good library and degree value. Even though I dropped out, I felt it was totally worth it. Good for budget.

Campus life is fun, lots of crowd and events always happening. Canteen, grounds, and Hazratganj nearby make it lively. Made some good friends. It was chilled and enjoyable. I really miss the campus even after dropping out.

I joined B.Com at Lucknow University but had to leave in second year due to some personal issues at home. It was not because of college. My overall experience was still good. Teachers were supportive and campus environment was nice. I learned a lot even in that short time. I would suggest this university to students who want an affordable degree with good campus life. Even after dropping out I have respect for LU. Overall my experience is best in this college.

historic but not great! the building and the institution is over 100 years old and it could be told by the state of the estate. the building have that vintage look. but with all these the classes need to be modified like there are only fans but we need acs and also washrooms are smelly but that is a basic necessity.

the teachers are okay. the ones who actually enjoy teaching, they impact all of us and put in great effort. but all the rest of the teachers just make you feel like they don't care and they come with printouts which they just read out.

the placement center is so non existent that i found about it very late. even after i found out about it they don't seem to be very proactive. i have seen people get disappointed by them. the average package offered is very low and they have not been very successful in securing packages for students.

the college is bang for your buck. with how much you are paying i believe it is a good option.

The buildings of our campus are not up to the mark by today's standards they definitely need improvement. The classes are not great the seats are not even big enough to sit on them the classroom gets hot and humid during the summer

I'm studying b. Com(hons) I'm currently in my 2 nd year. The faculty is decent the teachers actually know about the subjects that they teach overall the teachers are great. But the curriculum needs to be better as per today's standards

Not sure as I am still a student of 2nd year. My reason for joking the college was solely because my father asked me to go to this University personally I wanted to go to bbau instead but couldn't fir to family reasons

The tution fee is to much for the infrastructure we get for paying 28k per semester the whole building need renovation the classes feel like an oven during Summers. The hot and humid summers feel like we're in a hell holee

Campus is enormous and there are plenty of places to hang out with friends. The seniors are pretty friendly and the are supportive. Many activities take place regularly in the campus which provides a great opportunity for social gatherings.

The college the infrastructure is good , as it was built in British era and even in this bad weather the building stays cools . Classes are also well maintained specially the science department and lab is equipped with apparatus.

Academic is good also its gives good opportunities with all the lab work it also provides platform for future studies including the research works , teachers are also quite polite and helpful. One of the best decision of life

So for overalls placement , so far their many worshops for choosing right career path for the masters and for the teachers faculty and the HOD are very friendly and supportive for students who are seeking help.

So basically its state government college and for the money and fees and opportunities it provides it is just amazing and generally my course fees is bot more thn 10k so basically its a steal deal and better than comon tier 3 colleges

The campus life is 10/10 with amazing students and such supportive teachers even the college fest are win for genz like us . Great social interaction with all kinds of people , for the money they take as fees its a steal deal.

Honestly, the infrastructure here is just okay—nothing to write home about. The classrooms have the basics, but the projectors and smart boards are super moody and always seem to glitch right when a professor needs them. Labs are decent enough to get your experiments done, but a lot of the equipment feels pretty outdated. The library is a nice, quiet place to study, but don't count on the campus Wi-Fi because it drops constantly when everyone is online. The hostels are pretty average too; maintenance takes ages to fix a simple leaky tap or a broken fan. Food in the mess is edible, but it gets boring real quick, and the hygiene is just the bare minimum. We do have sports grounds, but the gear is pretty worn out and the fields aren't really looked after properly.

I gave academics a 4 out of 5 because my experience here has been genuinely rewarding, even if it isn't perfect. I chose to study Business Administration because I wanted a mix of theory and practical strategy, and the faculty here really delivers on that. The professors aren't just reading from textbooks; many of them bring real-world industry experience into the classroom, making lectures way more engaging.Our curriculum feels modern and gets updated often enough to keep up with current market trends and digital tools. The workload is definitely intense, and you have to put in the effort, but the focus on case studies, presentations, and mandatory internships ensures you graduate feeling confident and actually job-ready.

Placements at our college are pretty solid, and the overall quality is definitely above average. Most of my peers—around 80% to 85% of the batch—managed to land jobs during the recruitment drive. The placement cell is genuinely supportive; they organized mock interviews and resume workshops that made the whole process feel much less stressful and surprisingly smooth for me. As for the numbers, the average package hovers around 7-8 LPA, which is quite decent. The highest package this year went up to 35 LPA for a student in the Computer Science department. Overall, the college does a great job prepping you for the industry.

When you look at the total value, the B.Sc. course at Lucknow University offers a highly affordable but very average experience. The campus itself looks beautiful and historic from the outside, but inside the science departments, a lot of the lab equipment is outdated, and dealing with college paperwork can be a real test of patience. The faculty members are highly qualified and know their subjects well, but the teaching style leans heavily toward textbook theory rather than actual hands-on scientific practice. Placement-wise, companies don't really come to campus for standard B.Sc. graduates. Most students here end up preparing for government exams, aiming for higher studies like an M.Sc., or looking for off- campus jobs on their own. It is a solid, cost-effective place to get your degree if you are independent and ready to self-study, but it remains a middle-of-the-road experience overall.

It's a pretty decent university, but it definitely has its pros and cons. The best part about campus is the student center and the library-it's usually where everyone hangs out between classes, and there are actually quite a few active clubs you can join if you want to get involved. The worst part is definitely the parking situation and the campus food. Finding a parking spot after 9 AM is an absolute nightmare, and the cafeteria options get old really fast. The students here are mostly laid-back and friendly, so it's pretty easy to make friends. Most of the professors are super cool and genuinely want you to do well, but you definitely get a few who just read straight off their PowerPoint slides. The administrative staff can be pretty slow with handling paperwork, which gets annoying around registration time. As for the location, it's in a pretty average, suburban area. I've always felt safe walking around campus even during night classes because it's well-lit and there are campus security guards around. They have emergency systems in place, though luckily I've never seen anyone actually have to use them.

Our college infrastructure is great and beautiful. The classrooms and halls are big, but the fans feel a bit slow sometimes. The washrooms and common rooms are alright, but they could be better. There are clean drinking water stations, but sometimes they don't work.There are trees all around the campus, so the temperature feels a bit cool. There is a canteen nearby where you can get food and drinks, but it is just okay because there isn't enough seating space. Also, there are many sculptures around the college, but I think they need more maintenance.Overall, I think it's nice.

About the studies, I think it is alright. As a first-year student, I am getting used to everything slowly. I am studying Painting, which also includes Art History.So far, it has been great. The syllabus feels relevant and the curriculum is updated. However, I think there is still room for improvement both in my course and in other subjects like Applied Arts, like also teaching us more newly art trends etc.Overall, I think it’s great.

When it comes to placements, it is tough for BFA students. The university has a central placement cell, but it mostly brings in companies for B.Tech and MBA students. There are almost no direct on-campus placements for Painting or Art History.If you want a job right after college, you usually have to look for it yourself off-campus or do freelance work. Students in Applied Arts have a slightly better chance at finding design jobs. Overall, the starting salary for arts students is around ₹2 to ₹4 Lakhs per year, but you have to work hard on your own portfolio to get it because the college doesn't provide direct design placements.

Painting regular cost 20k per year rightnow, for education and practicals i think it's great but as it's not the good in overall placements, students have to be ready for freelance for sure in that way it could be slightly less worth it. But it's still nice even fine art courses are less available in India.

Best feature of campus would be the architect, beautiful Sculpture around the whole campus, trees and nature. You'll get to see people sketching around the campus etc. There's been a love of events and competitions as well also seminars too. The Art college of LU is at the end but still clear to reach and it's safe. Students are great and even seniors also there to help, Teachers and college staff are open to help always.

Overall it's a great college for someone who wants to do the courses, but there's still very much need in improvement. And there had been some issues related Hostels too that should be fixed.
