My college was one of the oldest one. It has modern equipment too. It has labs , a big library, separate hostels and many more. Hygiene and cleanliness was not good . I Suffered a lot there due to this
My course was MSc from physics. For some people it was difficult. My studies didn't maked me job ready . Quality of teaching was quite good there but not excellent. My curriculum was yes updated which was a good thing.
The placement opportunity was quite less for science courses. The maximum package was 4 LPA only there. Few companies comes there and college was not supportive for this . Less students were placed at that time.
My course cost was 45000 around per year which was not much but I think this money was not worthy for me .
My campus life was not so good. One can engage in art and cultural skills there . It's location was safe, for any emergencies you can handle . Students was good but some are indisciplined . Teachers are some good and some are not so overall average was the experience i had .
To be honest my experience was not so good in this college
Impressed structure is decent but not very modern . The campus is big and green , which place a peaceful vibes. Classrooms and labs are average but some equipment needs updating. Library is useful but could improve more with digital facilities.
Academics are average. The syllabus covers basic concept, but teaching quality depends on the professors. Some teachers are supportive while others focus more on completing the syllabus. Students need to do self study for understanding an exam preparation.
Placements for BSc students are very low. Very few companies come for pure science courses. Most student go for higher studies like MSc or prepare for competitive exams. Career growth of individual mainly depends on personal efforts not by the college.
The fees are quite affordable compared to other universities. So if you are looking for a college that is budget-friendly and has decent academics, then you can definitely go for it .
The campus life is good and enjoyable. Environment is friendly and relaxed. So, you get enough time to prepare for competitive exams because attendance is not that strict here.
College infrastructure plays a very important role in shaping students’ academic and personal development. A well-developed campus creates a positive learning environment and motivates students to perform better. The college building is spacious, well-ventilated, and properly maintained. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards, projectors, and comfortable seating arrangements, which make learning interactive and engaging.
The library is well-stocked with a wide range of academic books, reference materials, and digital resources. It also provides a peaceful atmosphere for self-study. Science and computer laboratories are modern and fully equipped with necessary instruments and updated software. The campus offers reliable Wi-Fi connectivity, enabling students to access online resources easily.
Average package satisfactory hai aur kuch students ko high package bhi milta hai, khas kar technical branches me. Computer Science aur IT branch ka placement sabse strong hai, jabki dusri branches me bhi theek-thaak opportunities mil jati hain. Internship support bhi diya jata hai jisse students ko practical experience milta hai.

Spacious campus with heritage buildings and green lawns. Classrooms are decent, labs are improving, and the library is well-stocked. Some blocks need renovation, but overall the infrastructure feels solid and lively.
Academics are balanced with experienced faculty as it's one of the oldest university in Lucknow and a structured syllabus. Some departments are excellent, while others need more practical exposure. Overall, learning opportunities are good if you stay proactive.
Placements are decent the Central Placement Cell organizes drives and guidance, and many UG/PG students secure jobs. Median packages are around ₹7.8–8.3 LPA and the highest have crossed ₹23 LPA, with top companies like Deloitte, IBM, Infosys and ICICI visiting.
Affordable fees compared to many private colleges. The degree holds good recognition, making it worth the cost. Value increases if you actively build skills and use campus opportunities wisely overall value for money ????????
The campus is spacious and have almost all basic facilities. The environment is safe and peaceful. Some classrooms need better ventilation and seating arrangement. In peak hours, it is very difficult to find a seat in library ,So there everything is good but somethings can be renovated.
The MSc maths program is strong in theory and conceptual understanding. Professors are experienced and can clarify difficult concept well. Some faculty are really very supportive. The curriculum is good but ,could include more practical and research oriented studies.
Placement for MSc math student is limited, as most persue research, PhD , or competitive exams. Some students get placement in teaching or analytics role but campus placement support is very less. Everything is depend on individual effort.
The total fees for two years is Rs. 22480.
Campus life is good specially for the student who enjoy academic discussions . There is also not much burden about the attendance so anyone can easily prepare for competitive exams or any other thing that they want to pursue.
No
The campus is large and historic with clean classrooms ,labs, and library facilities . Labs are functional but some equipments are outdated. The library is good with a large collection of reference books , but digital sources could be improved.
The BSc courses in Maths, Physics and Chemistry are well-structured and the faculty is also very well experienced, and knowledgeable. Theory and practical labs are balanced and but teaching method can sometimes feel traditional and less interactive.
Placement for BSC students are very limited. Many student pursue higher studies (MSc IIT JAM or research) rather than campus placement. Internship support exist but it is not very structured. Student need to take personal initiative for opportunities.
The course fee is around Rs.12,000 per year. LU is a good option for student who are looking for an affordable and reputed university.
Campus life is active with cultural event, science seminar, and student club. Overall it's a good experience. You get enough time to prepare for the competitive exams or for higher studies.
No
The campus is specious and historically rich with a peaceful study environment. The library has a good collection of history books and reference materials. But, some buildings and classrooms need renovation. Digital facilities and smart classrooms can be improved.
I also did Graduation from this college and now also as a post graduate history student, academic are strong and detailed. Professor have deep subject knowledge and encourage critical thinking and research. The syllabus covers medieval and modern India thoroughly. Regular assignment and presentation help in building analytical skills.
Placement opportunities for MA history are limited compared to professional courses. Most student prepared for NET,PhD, or government exams. Direct campus placement are not very strong . Student need to look for internship and job independently.
My course costs about Rs. 8,240.
Campus life is engaging. Seminar guest lectures , and academic discussion are helpful for history student. The environment is safe and supportive.

The campus is large, green, and historically rich with multiple academic building and libraries. Classrooms and labs are functional but some areas require renovation and better maintenance. The library has good academic resources for students . Overall infrastructure is good but not very modern.
The University of Lucknow has a strong academic reputation and offers a wide range of undergraduate and post graduate courses. The faculty members are experience and knowledgeable in their respective field, but teaching method can be improved and updated.
Placement opportunities are average and very depending on the department. Some professional courses of a better placement support compare to traditional program. Many student prepare for government exams or higher studies instead of campus placement. Student often need to take personal initiative for internships and jobs.
The course cost about Rs.6,500 per year.
Campus life is good with cultural festivals, seminars, sports event , and student activities. Student get opportunities to participate in debates, competitions , and social events . Over all college life here is enjoyable.
Good infrastructure of the college as it has old architectural design but the facilities are top class .Staff don't really care about cleanliness also some students are really unhygienic.Although classrooms are quite normal .
The quality of education here is not really great as it clearly seem that professors are not introduced to the mordern methods of teaching. You simply can't expect the uses of mordern world tools by students and professors here .
Placements are good with btech branch but only certain number of students manage to get those. As I'm a student Bsc i don't see that placements are really good enough for this much investment of time and focus in the classroom .
As compared to the quality of education I get here i think fee structure is little higher so basically i don't think it doesn't completely worth all that money I pay for the 2 semesters, but if you looking for BA (hons) degree then it's alright .
Campus life is really great as people are very friendly out here there's very less toxicity you will experience from staff or students . The only problem is dorms are not really in great condition and some basic things will miss for sure.
Need to focus on hygeine.
infrastructure is old and classy with beautiful architecture, but facilities provided here is not really great for example water taste is so strange here and toilets are not well maintained there's a lot of compromises with student and staff hygiene.
I am a student with B.A(hons) and to be honest I don't see any scope in it in future even though I attend lectures on daily basis I still find difficulties to understand most of the things they teach here. it clearly appears that some of the professors still not introduced to the modern methods of teaching.
I don't know the much, but placements are not really great here, on average its around 2-3 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement with B.A(Hons) is very low, but you have a chance with BTECH.
Fee structure is very nice its affordable, it costs around 6000 per year. I feel it really worth it as professors take the classes on daily basis so overall it's really great and got no problem in it.
average campus life, people are helpful although facilities are not top-tier just average. Professors are accessible most of the times. The clubs are good but dorms are not in really intact condition.
they have to work a lot on their hygiene also the methods of teaching students.
