Honestly, the infrastructure here is just okay—nothing to write home about. The classrooms have the basics, but the projectors and smart boards are super moody and always seem to glitch right when a professor needs them. Labs are decent enough to get your experiments done, but a lot of the equipment feels pretty outdated. The library is a nice, quiet place to study, but don't count on the campus Wi-Fi because it drops constantly when everyone is online. The hostels are pretty average too; maintenance takes ages to fix a simple leaky tap or a broken fan. Food in the mess is edible, but it gets boring real quick, and the hygiene is just the bare minimum. We do have sports grounds, but the gear is pretty worn out and the fields aren't really looked after properly.

I gave academics a 4 out of 5 because my experience here has been genuinely rewarding, even if it isn't perfect. I chose to study Business Administration because I wanted a mix of theory and practical strategy, and the faculty here really delivers on that. The professors aren't just reading from textbooks; many of them bring real-world industry experience into the classroom, making lectures way more engaging.Our curriculum feels modern and gets updated often enough to keep up with current market trends and digital tools. The workload is definitely intense, and you have to put in the effort, but the focus on case studies, presentations, and mandatory internships ensures you graduate feeling confident and actually job-ready.

Placements at our college are pretty solid, and the overall quality is definitely above average. Most of my peers—around 80% to 85% of the batch—managed to land jobs during the recruitment drive. The placement cell is genuinely supportive; they organized mock interviews and resume workshops that made the whole process feel much less stressful and surprisingly smooth for me. As for the numbers, the average package hovers around 7-8 LPA, which is quite decent. The highest package this year went up to 35 LPA for a student in the Computer Science department. Overall, the college does a great job prepping you for the industry.

The faculty members are highly qualified and know their subjects well, but the teaching style leans heavily toward textbook theory rather than actual hands-on scientific practice. Placement-wise, companies don't really come to campus for standard B.Sc. graduates. Most students here end up preparing for government exams, aiming for higher studies like an M.Sc., or looking for off- campus jobs on their own. It is a solid, cost-effective place to get your degree if you are independent and ready to self-study, but it remains a middle-of-the-road experience overall.

It's a pretty decent university, but it definitely has its pros and cons. The best part about campus is the student center and the library-it's usually where everyone hangs out between classes, and there are actually quite a few active clubs you can join if you want to get involved. The worst part is definitely the parking situation and the campus food. Finding a parking spot after 9 AM is an absolute nightmare, and the cafeteria options get old really fast. The students here are mostly laid-back and friendly, so it's pretty easy to make friends. Most of the professors are super cool and genuinely want you to do well, but you definitely get a few who just read straight off their PowerPoint slides. The administrative staff can be pretty slow with handling paperwork, which gets annoying around registration time. As for the location, it's in a pretty average, suburban area. I've always felt safe walking around campus even during night classes because it's well-lit and there are campus security guards around. They have emergency systems in place, though luckily I've never seen anyone actually have to use them.

Our college infrastructure is great and beautiful. The classrooms and halls are big, but the fans feel a bit slow sometimes. The washrooms and common rooms are alright, but they could be better. There are clean drinking water stations, but sometimes they don't work.There are trees all around the campus, so the temperature feels a bit cool. There is a canteen nearby where you can get food and drinks, but it is just okay because there isn't enough seating space. Also, there are many sculptures around the college, but I think they need more maintenance.Overall, I think it's nice.

About the studies, I think it is alright. As a first-year student, I am getting used to everything slowly. I am studying Painting, which also includes Art History.So far, it has been great. The syllabus feels relevant and the curriculum is updated. However, I think there is still room for improvement both in my course and in other subjects like Applied Arts, like also teaching us more newly art trends etc.Overall, I think it’s great.

When it comes to placements, it is tough for BFA students. The university has a central placement cell, but it mostly brings in companies for B.Tech and MBA students. There are almost no direct on-campus placements for Painting or Art History.If you want a job right after college, you usually have to look for it yourself off-campus or do freelance work. Students in Applied Arts have a slightly better chance at finding design jobs. Overall, the starting salary for arts students is around ₹2 to ₹4 Lakhs per year, but you have to work hard on your own portfolio to get it because the college doesn't provide direct design placements.

Painting regular cost 20k per year rightnow, for education and practicals i think it's great but as it's not the good in overall placements, students have to be ready for freelance for sure in that way it could be slightly less worth it. But it's still nice even fine art courses are less available in India.

Best feature of campus would be the architect, beautiful Sculpture around the whole campus, trees and nature. You'll get to see people sketching around the campus etc. There's been a love of events and competitions as well also seminars too. The Art college of LU is at the end but still clear to reach and it's safe. Students are great and even seniors also there to help, Teachers and college staff are open to help always.

Overall it's a great college for someone who wants to do the courses, but there's still very much need in improvement. And there had been some issues related Hostels too that should be fixed.

The campus is pretty,but no clean washrooms and no proper fan facility in classes, it's super hot. Seats are uncomfortable, washrooms smell and no sanitation. Dustbins should be kept in each classroom

The quality of staff is good and they try their best to make sure that students are able to understand their lectures. They provide personal support to the teachers, suggesting various sources to study from.

Lucknow University offers a decent college experience at a reasonable fee. The campus has good events and activities, and the facilities are satisfactory. Placements are average and depend on the course. Students need to be proactive about internships and skills. Overall, it offers decent value for money.

Each semester costs around 28k and i would say the services are fine, fest and other things can be explored to get most of it....I like the events done on campus.

The infrastructure is just old, just because it's a bigger college doesn't guarentee you top class infrastructure. Some of the benches and chairs you may found broken rest depends upon the type of department you're in.

Academics are just okayish, mainly concept based, notes are yet to be made by you. Professors are good and friendly Experienced faculty too Exams vary from mid semester to semester ends depending upon course

For all the other courses, the placement data is quite justified But bcom doesn't really get any, maybe bcom hons get some of it. If you're joining for tech and demanding courses you can expect a decent to mid lower packages For MBA, Mcom Rest is debatable

If you're from lucknow itself, it might be working out for you, but coming entirely from a different city, taking Pgs and spending hefty money is a waste.

Only cultural and religious fests keeps on happening, no concerts or cool stuff tbh
