The placement cell at Jain University also organizes training programs that not only aim to improve technical knowledge but also to help the students in their personality development. Jain University placement process includes registration for the placement drive, shortlisting students who meet the companies' pre-hiring requirements, pre-placement talk (a two-way communication where students learn about the company and interact with the employers), written tests, group discussion, and personal interview.

Step 1: Orientation

Information about the Jain University placement process, guidelines, major recruiters, and previous year placement statistics are shared with the students. The Director or the Chief Placement Officer organizes the orientation session, which is accompanied by the dean, director, and faculty members.

Step 2: Data Capture

All students would have their data captured across several factors, which would help in the recruitment process. As a result, the Student Career Advisory & Placement Support Team uses a consolidated Data Capture Format to capture students' data as per company requirements.

Step 3: Student Mapping

Interacting with students and then mapping them to job openings. The Career Advisory & Placement Services Team analyses the students' interests based on the mapping and invites recruiters subsequently.

Step 4: Placement Training

Every student who has applied for Jain University campus placement must undergo the Campus Recruitment Leadership Training Program, which is offered in collaboration with the Institute of Skills (IOS). In-house training (for example- aptitude, group discussions, and mock interviews, etc), guest lectures, workshops, and alumni interaction are all part of the In- house training programme.

Step 5: Recruitment Process (as per company)

Jain University recruitment includes the following steps

  • Job openings shared with students

  • Online registration

  • Interview scheduled shared with registered students

  • Pre-placement talk on campus

  • Interviews on campus

  • Final results

The recruitment process may be altered in response to a recruiter's request.

If the number of applicants for the job requirement is less, the company can conduct the placement process at their campus or at a different location that is convenient for them.

Step 6: Final Selection

Recruiters must give the final list of selected students at the end of the placement procedure once the companies have completed the recruiting process. Selected students would be informed after receiving confirmation from the recruiters.

Jain University Placement Drive

Jain University placements for the academic year 2019-20 at Jain University has ended on a successful note. TCS, Mphasis, Ernst & Young, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Morgan Stanley, AXA, Synapse Innovation, and Grant Thornton, to name a few, have offered prominent positions to around 1250 students. A total of 236 companies have visited the campus to conduct a recruitment drive and more than 60 companies are scheduled to visit the campus to hire freshers.
