Faculty is helpful towards the student and we all are growing and learning together. Promotes a healthy learning environment and promotes smart learning with technological help and good campus environment
Academic atmosphere is good they don't pressurise the student to get full marks, individual attention provided to students whenever they need It makes students critically aware off topics and develops perspective
I am still pursuing my degree so I can't talk about the placements first hand but from what I know from my seniors the campus has good placement opportunities from reputed companies and businesses all over
The campus has really great infrastructure and has great ambience. Also there are really good washrooms, a central library with the lotsof knowledge and books available. Also there are equipments and facilities too.
Academics is also good here as per the curriculum which is updated as per the need of the students there. Also they do provide us the internship opportunities from ²nd year itself. They do take us on industrial visit as well.
Placement are good here as per my seniors advice that if you are expert as per the requirement of the job role they're seeking then definitely you can survive. Also they provide the group discussion sessions.
For an MA English student, the Jayanagar 4th Block campus offers a highly functional, corporate-style academic environment. You will be attending classes in modern, air-conditioned rooms equipped with smart screens and audio-visual tools, which are ideal for literary discussions and film screenings. The campus library is a great resource, housing an excellent collection of classic literature, critical theory journals, and digital research databases. While the building lacks green lawns or open recreational parks, its location is a massive advantage—the Jayanagar Metro Station and a wide array of quiet cafes, bookstores, and local PGs are just a short walk away.
The MA English curriculum at Jain University is designed to be highly contemporary, moving far beyond traditional Victorian literature to include post-colonial studies, cultural studies, gender studies, and digital humanities. The academic environment is highly interactive, prioritizing seminar-style discussions, research paper presentations, and critical essay writing over rote memorization. The faculty members within the English department are highly accessible and encourage independent critical thinking, though you will need to be proactive with your reading lists. The workload is balanced, giving you enough time to work on an independent master's thesis or pursue academic publishing.
Placements for MA English graduates are focused on industries driven by communication, content, and education. Jain’s central placement cell connects postgraduate humanities students with corporate communication teams, content marketing agencies, publishing houses, media networks, and EdTech platforms. While tech packages dominate the university's overall statistics, MA English students regularly land roles as content strategists, instructional designers, copywriters, and corporate trainers, with starting packages averaging between ₹5 LPA and ₹7 LPA. If you plan to go into academia, the department also provides solid foundational guidance for clearing the UGC NET exam or applying for PhD programs.
The value for money for an MA English degree at Jain is highly dependent on your ultimate career goals. The tuition fees are higher than those of traditional public universities, making it a premium financial investment for an arts degree. If your goal is strictly conventional lecturing, the return on investment might feel slow. However, if you intend to break into corporate communications, digital media, or content strategy, the university's strong industry network, mandatory internship modules, and prime Bangalore location offer an excellent springboard that justifies the cost.
Campus life as a master's student in this block is intellectually stimulating, highly creative, and culturally active. The MA English peer group is typically close-knit, progressive, and passionate about art, cinema, and societal issues. You will find yourself surrounded by students organizing literary fests, poetry circles, creative writing workshops, and theater productions within the campus quadrangle. Even as a postgraduate humanities student, if you are involved in sports, the university fully supports you with travel funding and attendance concessions so you can train and compete at the main campus facilities.

Very good, basically you'll have a greater space in everywhere you go. Classroom is so vast offers ac in each class and smart board in every class. Welly equipped and so cleanliness maintained. Best one
I am studying MCA it is very affordable and so good career opportunities to students who join. I really loved their teaching and the courses they offer it so wide and gives you lot of choices to select the career
As of my knowledge placemats team offers lot of internship and placemats opportunities once a month and most them get selected. Students with passionate dream to work on BIG4s can honestly apply and join their course
Affordable
Very good to study the atmosphere is so lively
good canteen, i havent been to the library but it looks nice and the restrooms are clean. no sports ground as such but labs are nice and internet connectivity is good. each system in the lab has a strong ethernet connection
good teachers, they teach very well and easy to understand course. friendly teachers. im doing bsc in gaming because its my passion and dream. developing games and making people smile, so yeah this is a good college for this course
placement cell is present and according to them the placements have been good but in this course going solo is best. that way you can easily develop games of your choice and publishing them might be troublesome but with the way india has been updating it'll be easier by the time i pass out
The campus is relatively small..but it is well maintained with modern classrooms, labs and learning facilities. Though the campus is small, it provides a comfortable environment for students. The place is hygienic and clean. The equipment is modern.
Academics at jain are well structured and industry focused. The faculty is supportive, and the curriculum balances theory with practical learning, helping students build relevant skills. The curriculum is updated and includes all the new updates in the field.
i am currently still in my 3rd mid semester so im yet to know about my placements but i have heard that its really good and alot of people have been placed into companies like google, facebook etc. almost 80% or 85% of students are placed in very good companies.
Jain offers decent value for money with good academics, industry exposure, and placement opportunities. However, the fees are on the higher side compared to some other colleges. The education makes up for it. The quality is great.
Campus life is lively and enjoyable. The students are active and friendly, with plenty of events, clubs, and activities that create a fun and engaging atmosphere. The students, teachers and supoort staff are very friendly.
The college is overall amazing. The staff and faculty are good.
The infrastructure is great and the whole building is very spacious and well ventilated. the classrooms provide us with ac and a smartboard aswell which helps our education. there is an open quadrangle in the middle surrounded my four sides of the college. the floor is clean aswell.
Im studying BA- Engkish, Psychology and Journalism. Im very interested all these three subjects and the course is provided only in this university. The quality of teaching is amazing and the faculty are well trained. What im studying does make me exam ready.
I have heard very well things about the placements of the college. My first hand experience with that is not abundant right now as im still in my second year. But the wuality of education provided very well makes us ready for getting internships and jobs. almost 80% of the students were placed in top notch companies.
the course fee for a year is 1.50L and i think its worth it because of all the curriculums and facilities that they offer. the faculties are amazing and they are verh friendly. The university’s support itself is definitely money’s worth.
The best feature is the ventilation. Honestly, there is nothing else thag feels more free-ing than cool air and comfort while being in campus. The worst is probably the food provided in the hostel which they do take into consideration. The problem is not the food but how repetitive it is.The menu could be changed a little bit here and there. The locatikn is wonderful and there are alot of restaurants and snack shops just outside.
Overall the college is amazing. The faculty especially are very supportive and the location is also pretty good
The infrastructure is good and the college has lift service to all floors. The classrooms are air conditioned and projectors are available in each classroom. There is a canteen for snacks. There is an indoor basketball court in the quadrangle at the 3rd floor.
I am currently pursuing Masters in Animation to improve my skills and develop a good portfolio for my future jobs. The faculties are really supportive and friendly. They are ready to help us whenever we have any doubts. Students with any Bachelors Degree can join this course. The syllabus is very beginner friendly in the starting sem and it becomes more advanced towards the end.
Since I'm in my first year, only few placement offers have been given. The quality of placements increase in the second year. As of now, the highest salary package was 10-15k offered for an internship.
The course costs 1.2L per year. With the help of faculties and some self study, our skills can improve a lot. The overall quality of learning is very good with faculties who will support us and help us reach our best skill level. I feel like I'm getting my money's worth with this course.
The campus life is fun with many clubs and student council clubs. I personally like the gaming club and the animation club which takes on different activities to host eSports events or animation skillset showcase events in the college. The students are creative and the teachers are very supportive. The location is in a very urban area where metro is available. The place can handle emergencies as it is equipped with fire safety and other safety measures.
This university is a good place to go for courses like animation and gaming. The freedom and support the faculties provide are very helpful.
i would say my college has a pretty good infrastructure when it comes to educational necessities. its spacious and has top of the line technological facilities. the library is also pretty good in my opinion
the professors are mostly well read and critical in their academic approach. they are also friendly and are approachable. the syllabus usually teaches the essential texts as i am doing a master's in english literature here.
i cant speak about placements with full clarity yet as i am still pursuing my course here. but the placements for computer science and commerce courses are quite good as some of my friends in those courses have got placed for decent packages
