    Direct Admission in Jain University: Process, Courses and Fees

    Jain University primarily offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Jain University, Bangalore offers direct admission to those UG and PG programs. The university direct admission is offered based on the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination. For direct admission to undergraduate programs, the candidates’ marks in the 12th board examination are taken into consideration. But candidates' undergraduate grades are taken into account for direct admission to Jain University PG courses. The application process for direct admission to Jain University at the undergraduate level is comparable to the application process for postgraduate direct Jain University Admission.

    For the Jain University admission procedure, candidates have to meet the required eligibility criteria. Even though Jain University conducts its own entrance test- Jain Entrance Test (JET), candidates can get direct admission to the university. The eligibility criteria for Jain University direct admission to UG courses is that the candidate must pass the 10+2 examination in Science/Commerce/Arts from PUC/ISC/CBSE or equivalent board. For PG courses the eligibility criteria is that candidates must have an aggregate of 50% in bachelor's degree in respective discipline or equivalent (10+2+3) from a recognized university. The admission procedure to apply for Jain University direct admission is that candidates have to fill an application form.

    • Step 1- Know your course

    Candidates have to look through the Jain University official website and brochures to choose the programme of their choice. There are different undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programmes to choose from.

    • Step 2- Eligibility Criteria

    Admission to the course of their selection is based on fulfilling the Jain University eligibility criteria.

    • Step 3- Fill the online application form

    Candidates can fill up the online application form available on the Jain University official website.

    • Step 4- Completing the Application

    The application form must be filled out along with all required documents. The following documents must be attached to the admission form and brought along upon reporting to Jain University:

    1. Certified copy of the marks/grade sheet of the qualifying examination as prescribed by the University.

    2. Certified copy of the grade equivalent to marks by boards/schools.

    3. Transfer certificate/school leaving certificate/testimonials/No objection certificate.

    4. Copy of the passport.

    5. Passport size photograph (recent).

    • Step 5- Provisional Admission

    On receiving the Jain University application form, the University's academic council will check the documents to see if they fulfil the university's eligibility criteria. A provisional admission letter with fee details will be sent if the candidates meet all required eligibility criteria.

    • Step 6- Final Admission

    Students should report to the University for final admission after completing the procedures of depositing the required money. On receipt of the required information, the University will send the admission letter. When reporting to the University at the start of the academic session, students should have their admission letters with them.
