The main academic buildings and facilities felt distinctly behind the times during my enrolment period. Our specific Physics department was situated in a functional but decidedly secondary block that was also crying out for immediate modernization and proper care. The crucial laboratory equipment necessary for advanced Honours practical experiments was regrettably often obsolete, sometimes even non-functional when needed by the students. Classroom space for large lecture batches often felt incredibly cramped and uncomfortable, especially during peak academic sessions throughout the year. The library itself possessed an adequate collection of books, but the attached reading room felt consistently overcrowded and poorly ventilated. Overall, the physical campus environment was tired, aged, and certainly required a significant and urgent investment.
The chemistry department's lab was really good although it was old but the equipments were in good condition. Other than that the classrooms were spacious but corridor, bathrooms were in bad condition and needed real improvement.
Our college has no hostel and we have to pay for the WIFI connection which has a very slow speed. The labs offer new instrument for the technical stream. The library is pretty good with a lots of good books according to you genre.
