B.Sc Economics Hons - Batch of 2029-01-01
Academics
The curriculum is set to be interdisciplinary which helps us explore various branches and subjects. The application-based nature of assignments, projects, etc. do make you rack your brain. The focus is always to make us be able to apply what we are learning in class.
College Infra
Our classrooms use the traditional blackboard/whiteboard methods, which prove to be more than sufficient. Our libraries are well endowed, we can get our hands on most of the recommended readings most of the times.
Campus Life
I had a good experience with campus life. There was always something happening, whether it was cultural events, club activities, or sports, so it never felt boring. The teachers were approachable, and the support staff were helpful whenever needed. The campus is clean, feels safe, and has all the basic facilities.
Placements
Placements at my college are decent overall. While not everyone gets placed, students who are consistent with their academics and prepare well usually get good opportunities. The placement cell keeps students informed about drives and offers guidance whenever needed.
Value For Money
The fee is around ₹80,000 per year, and I think it's worth it. The teachers are helpful, the campus has all the basic facilities, and there are enough opportunities to learn beyond the classroom through different events and activities.
