Acharya Prafulla Chandra College is located in the heart of the city of Madhyamgram, and is also a NAAC accredited institution with a large diversity of courses offered from humanities to applied sciences equipped with top notch facilities like from digital library to dedicated labs for every applied science department with State of the art equipments, along with eminent faculty with years of experience the institution stands tall of being one of the most prestigious institution of learning in West Bengal.The college has a two separate hostels , one for boys and the other for girl's within the college campus.

The quality of education in this college is top notch, under the guidance of eminent faculties with years of experience students learn and adapt quickly, the environment of the institution is very supportive towards the students and the faculties are very much student friendly and the state of the art laboratories for the applied sciences are just the cherry on top of the cake.

The college provides placements , last academic year many MNCs like TCS, Infosys visited the campus and gave employment offer to many students. The TPO Cell of our esteemed institution works tirelessly to bring major giants to our college and acquire the bestest of our students.

As the Institution is state funded, the fees is structure is comparatively less and very much affordable for every student. The course fee for B.A. in English costs around Rs 25000 for 4 years , which is comparatively much cheaper than the other prestigious institutions in the city.

The Campus life is very much student friendly, being the whole campus spreaded across an acre , it has a dedicated gymnasium, a dedicated basketball court and a large playground where every year Annual College Sports takes place in the Winter.

I studied B.A. Sanskrit Honours at Acharya Prafulla Chandra College. The Sanskrit department has knowledgeable and supportive teachers. Classes were regular and helped build a strong understanding of the subject. The college provides a peaceful academic environment and basic facilities. Overall, it is a good college for students interested in Sanskrit studies.

The teachers are very friendly and helpful in their academic approach. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they cooperated with students in a highly supportive manner. They ensured continuity of learning despite the challenging circumstances. The faculty provided clear guidance and academic support for semester preparations. Their dedication greatly contributed to students’ academic progress and confidence.

The college did not have a strong placement facility for students. However, efforts were made to support career awareness. A webinar was organized to introduce students to the job market. It provided basic guidance regarding career opportunities and expectations.

The college has very low tuition fees, making education affordable. Scholarship facilities are also available for eligible students. The department supports financially weak students who do not receive scholarships. They provide monetary assistance to ensure no student is deprived of education.

The campus life was pleasant and student friendly. There was a strict no-ragging environment, ensuring safety and comfort. The student union was very helpful and supportive. During college fests, renowned bands were invited, making events enjoyable.

Overall, Acharya Prafulla Chandra College provides a supportive and academically focused environment. The faculty is dedicated, approachable, and helpful in students’ academic growth. Although placement facilities are limited, the college offers guidance and career awareness. It is a good value-for-money institution with a positive campus life and learning atmosphere.

Infrastructure of the college was quite good.. The labs were well maintained so as the library.. Students facility was remarkable. Classrooms were well furnished.. College premises was covered under wifi and was cleaned on regular basis.

Each of the professors were very helpful and friendly. Proper environment for study was there. I enjoyed every class I attended. I studied mathematics hons there I am fully satisfied with what I have learned.

In my stream there was not much scope for placements, but in other subjects regular placements were given, so the placement facility was over all good specially in ssubjects like computer science and electronics.

From a wholesome experience it was absolutely value for money.

I enjoyed my campus life very much. Cultural programs, sports, music, everything was there.

This college is one of the most important institutions in the region, providing much needed opportunities for higher education where such facilities are limited. The management is well organized, and the campus is clean and well maintained, offering a good environment for students. The college is well connected by public transport from both Sodepur and Madhyamgram, making it accessible for students from nearby areas. The college is awarded grade 'A' by NAAC( National Assessment and Accreditation Council). Although the college still has room for some improvement but it is still a good college for learning in the area.

In Acharya Prafulla Chandra college so many stream option are available. And the courses are generally reasonable and good career options are there. Mathematics, Computer Science are available in the college.

As I study a normal degree ( BA honours) so I don't really know about placement from the college but the courses are good. We have human development, education, philosophy which are good course and has good teacher.

Acharya Prafulla Chandra College(APCC) offer affordable education with UG course generally costing a few thousand rupees for the entire degree( e. g BA/ B. Sc around Rs2k -Rs7k total) while the PG courses like M Sc can range from roughly Rs24k to Rs48k making it great real value of money.

Acharya Prafulla Chandra college provide vibrant campus life with beautiful, well maintained campus, good infrastructure ( library, grounds, labs) and a positive environment for students to socialize and study.

After completing half of my course and spending 2 years in this college, I come to conclusion that the college is good for general degree student like me who is pursuing English honors. I can not say about other degree, maybe they are also good in this college. The college has excellent infrastructure, grounds and class rooms. The college also has a volleyball ground which can attract student who are interested in socializing and playing . Over all I has very good opinion about this college ....

Excdellent college infra and great laboratory for practicals. Ideal college to be recommended . Sports activities, food and canteen services were excellent. Library was excellent with good books and collection.

Excellent placement facilities and recognitioons everyehre in the university. University has counselling desk to palce syudents at various palces. Several past students used the college alumni to get beeter assistance in job placements

The courses are good and very economical and affordable. The best college to recommend to anyone. There is no challenge to anyone as the fees are good amount and affordable to anyone.

Beautiful lush green campus here in this college amking it an ideal place to roam and study. Ideal for best place to study. With several sports activities and cultural events from time to time. These activities are a kind of motivation for students to pursue this college.

One of thje best college in Kolkata and a great ambience and campus with state of art infrastrucure and facuilties. I recommend this college to the new genrations to opt in for several courses from time to time

The college gives us nostalgia vibe, The building is beautiful and almost big, Every kind of facilities are here, It has a big basket ball court, It feels like home. It has a pretty good library also. Everything is very much well maintained here.

The arts department faculty professors are gentle behaved. They teach us very politely and nicely . There are only a few professor for each subject but each of them are well trained. They give same attention to every student.

I am currently working with a well known company after completing my graduation. Many of the people i know also got jobs in various good positions so placements are also very nice and suttle. I would agree about the good placements with this college.

Back in 2001, not all the rooms had AC, but the computers were well maintained. The washrooms were clean. High and low benches were available , these were maintained too. Only in our department smartboard was available, considering the timeline the overall infrastructure was good.

Back in the time, only few of the faculty were experienced. An in-depth study was provided. The professors were friendly and kind. We always received help from them regarding studies. The curriculum definitely was updates.

In those times the idea of placement wasn't very known. Although, they groomed us to be ready for interviews and present ourselves. Yet they offered a minimum number of placements to us and they were encouraging too.

An awesome campus experience because it was huge and beautiful and maintained.

Good infrastructure and all facilities are available here. Hostel facilities are good,with a focus security and room and food quality are very good. The college has a NAAC accreditation. This college was founded in 1960.

In my time I think it is a one of the best college under Calcutta University so I joined here . I completed my graduation in b.sc from this college. This college provide all streams here. Facilities are also very well behaved.

This is not a placement base college. Ordinary placement rate is 35% . But they didn't provide any jobs or high paying package jobs . But they suggest some professional courses which help to skill up students.
