36 MonthsBachelor of Science (B.Sc) Honours in Microbiology is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by the University of Calcutta, Kolkata.
Department organizes monthly lectures by eminent scientists and professors. Quiz contest, Model making competition, lecture competition staging drama on reputed scientists and their discoveries are regular features of the department. The students participate in the different contest outside the college and used to win prizes. Students from Department of Microbiology participate and win prizes in annual sports and other interdepartmental competitions. A large number of students have qualified NET GATE and GRE.
Eligibility Criteria
A person, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with science stream or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
