However it does not signify that they do not produce adequate individuals: nearly 60% of humanities students pass NET exam every year

The placements are really average here; there were literally no companies with a decent package for placement. The average would be around 1L–3L. The subjects were, however, subjective and research-based, so related companies were not visiting the campus as well.

Lady Brabourne College, with its lovely green lawns and gardens bordering the Park Circus Maidan, is one of India's best institutes for women's education. The College was founded in July 1939 by the Government of Bengal and named after Lord Brabourne's wife, who served as Governor of Bengal from February to July 1939.
The College allocated half of its seats for Muslim women and the balance for other communities such as Hindus, Parsees, Sikhs, and Jains. The hostel was reserved solely for Muslim students. Due to a lack of Muslim candidates, Lady Brabourne College began admitting Hindu pupils.

You Subject combination will be considered as Science stream only. This is because, apart from Biology and Chemistry, nutrition comes under science stream. Psychology can be under science, arts as well.
Now, talking about the College, you mentioned in the question, the College only provides admissions into honours courses out of which you have to select a specialization Subject.
