As an ECE student graduating in 2029 from Sri Vasavi Engineering College, Tadepalligudem, I felt the infrastructure was sufficient for routine academic work but did not always support advanced practical learning. Basic facilities were available, but students interested in exploring modern technologies often had to depend on resources outside the campus.
Academics
The syllabus covered the essential ECE subjects, but the teaching approach was mostly focused on completing the curriculum and examinations. To build practical skills and stay aligned with current industry expectations, I had to rely on online courses, technical communities, and personal projects.
Placements
Placements were the biggest disappointment during my course. Opportunities for core ECE roles were limited, and many students looked for software jobs or off-campus recruitment instead. Students who secured good offers generally did so because of their own preparation rather than the support provided through campus placements.
