Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP), Dharamshala was established under the Central Universities Act 2009 (No. 25 of 2009) enacted by the Parliament and became functional on January 20, 2010. Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala Admission Details:
Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala offers admission to the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Admission to the undergraduate courses will be done on the basis of the marks scored in the qualifying examination while for postgraduate courses, aspirants have to appear for an entrance test. Admission to the doctoral courses will be done on the basis of the combined performance in an entrance test, 10th, 12th and UG examinations. CUHP Admission Process for Undergraduate Courses:
- Candidates desirous to take admission to the various courses offered by the University have to fill in and submit an application form.
- The admissions will be based on the merit of the qualifying examination that is marks secured in class 12 from the recognised board.
- A merit list will be released separately for all the courses and candidates will be shortlisted for the further admission process according to the merit list released by the varsity.
- Aspirants who get shortlisted for further admission procedure will make a move to the final stage of the admission process that comprises document verification and fee payment.
- Thus, the final admission of the candidates who are successful in getting admission is based on the merit of the qualifying exam, university-level document verification and fee payment.
CUHP Admission Process for Postgraduate Courses:
- Aspirants should fill an online application form on the website of the university.
- The candidates have to appear for a Further Education Admission Test (FEAT).
- Shortlisting of candidates will be done on the basis of the marks scored in the FEAT examinations.
- Final admission will be done on the basis of the combined performance in the FEAT examination, 10th, 12th and UG examination.
- Further, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment process will take place.
CUHP PhD Admission Process:
- Aspirants should fill an online application form on the website of the university.
- 40% of candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the academic records, next 40% of the seats will be shortlisted on the basis of research qualification (performance in the test conducted by the UGC, CSIR, ICAR/NET/SET/SLET), and the remaining seats will be filled by the personal interview.
- Final admission will be offered after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.

Yes you can submit your migration certificate afterwards.
But first talk to your University administrators. If you have that certificate then you submit it. If you don't have certificate then talk to your administrator and submit it later on.
