Eligibility Criteria

Pass in Class 12 / equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and having at least 60% (50% for SC/ST/PwD) marks in average of 4 subjects – English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
The entry in this course is through NTA-JEE-Mains entrance examination. All the rules and regualtion of this entrance examination is applicable for this course.
(ii) NRI/PIO/ SFFS – Based on marks obtained by the candidates in Class 12 / equivalent qualifying examination.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is one of its strongest pillars, providing a conducive and modern environment for both academic and personal growth. The campus is sprawling and well-maintained, featuring a blend of green spaces and contemporary architecture. Each department is housed in spacious buildings with classrooms that are not only well-ventilated but also equipped with smart boards and high-quality audio-visual aids, making lectures much more interactive. The laboratories are state-of-the-art, stocked with the latest equipment and high-speed internet, which is essential for our technical practicals and research projects. The library is a standout feature, serving as a quiet sanctuary for students with its vast collection of physical books, digital journals, and comfortable reading zones. Beyond the academic blocks, the campus offers excellent recreational facilities, including a well-equipped gymnasium, sports fields for football and cricket, and indoor gaming areas. The hostel facilities are equally impressive, providing clean, secure, and comfortable living spaces that feel like a home away from home. Additionally, the cafeteria serves a diverse range of hygienic and affordable meals, acting as a popular social hub. Overall, the seamless integration of technology and physical facilities ensures that students have every resource necessary to excel in their college life.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of BIT MESRA is quite good and well maintained . The campus is large and green , providing peaceful environment for studies. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors and proper seating. Laboratories are big but often lack modern machines as most of the equipment are either very old or in not working position. The central library is big, has wide collection of books , journals and digital resources and hence provides good atmosphere . Hostels are decent with basic facilities although the rooms may be smaller for 2 people in sharing . It has water supplies , cleaning wards and mess facilities . Sports facilities are also very good . It has indoor badminton courts , basketball , volleyball , football , cricket and other sports grounds . Overall the infrastructure supports both academic and extra curricular activities .

College Infrastructure

BIT Mesra has really good infrastructure and facilities that make college life comfortable and productive. The classrooms are clean, spacious, and have projectors for better learning. Labs are fully equipped with modern instruments, and everything is well maintained so practical work never feels like a hassle. The library is huge — it’s a peaceful place to study with thousands of books and online resources. Sports facilities are great too; we have grounds for cricket, football, basketball, and even indoor games and a gym. Hostels are neat and the rooms are decent in size with good Wi-Fi. The food in the mess is hygienic and better than what you’d expect in most colleges. The campus overall is very green and pleasant, and there’s a medical center available for any emergencies. It honestly feels like everything a student might need is already here.
