Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Information Science and Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who has passed the 10 + 2 pattern of examination (equivalent to the two-year Pre University in Karnataka) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible to pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering at CITECH.
The eligibility for admission is 45% in the case of General Category and 40% marks in the qualifying examination in the case of SC/ST, Category-1, and OBC Category candidates. The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics in the qualifying examination will be considered in the place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained in Chemistry is less than the required aggregate percentage for determination of eligibility (and not for determination of rank, in respect of engineering/technology courses).

College Infrastructure

The college has good infrastructure, a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, and a library with digital lab facilities. The library facilities are available even on holidays and non-working days, which benefits students. The hostel also has good infrastructure, and the facilities in the hostel are good.

College Infrastructure

The classrooms are big and comfortable for learning. The labs are big and help us understand the applications of the subject which is really useful. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The speed of Wi-Fi is also good. The canteen is clean and provides healthy and good food. Library has books and previous year's QPS which are really useful.
