Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Information Science and Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who has passed the 10 + 2 pattern of examination (equivalent to the two-year Pre University in Karnataka) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible to pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering at CITECH.
The eligibility for admission is 45% in the case of General Category and 40% marks in the qualifying examination in the case of SC/ST, Category-1, and OBC Category candidates. The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics in the qualifying examination will be considered in the place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained in Chemistry is less than the required aggregate percentage for determination of eligibility (and not for determination of rank, in respect of engineering/technology courses).

College Infrastructure

The campus is well-equipped with wifi's and vending machine . It's planned really well and the campus is green and proudly zero waste.Every lab , the library including digital library every department has it's own wifi.I have heard the hostels has good facilities and infrastructure.All the classrooms are cleaned and maintained well. The waste is segregated really well. All the departments actively conduct events .
