Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, is a self-financing prestigious college that provides a number of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses. Most of the courses in the college have a merit-based admission procedure so that students who deserve it can join their desired programmes. The Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science admission process generally starts in May-June for the August-September session. Though dates keep changing every year, students are requested to keep an eye on the college website for updates on application deadlines and key dates. The college provides 51 courses under 12 degree programmes, meeting a wide variety of interests.
For the undergraduate programmes, the minimum eligibility criteria are passing 10+2 from a recognised board. The majority of courses need a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying exam. For the postgraduate candidates, they should have passed the bachelor's degree in the concerned stream from a recognised university with a minimum of 55-60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science also considers other regular tests for admission. For the case of MBA courses, the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is the regular means of admitting students. For the M.Phil. and Ph.D. applicants, the choice will be made through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Bharathiar University and the candidate's qualifying result, followed by an interview.

SRCAS provides 11 B.Com specialisations, such as Professional Accounting, Computer Application, International Business, and Banking and Insurance. Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science admission is merit-based, i.e., on the marks secured by the candidate at 10+2.
The college provides 14 B.Sc. courses, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, and Physics. Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science admission is based on merit on the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying exam.
The college offers two BCA programmes, one being Google Certification-included. It is an admission on the basis of merit and has a sanctioned intake of 120 seats for the regular programme of BCA.
The two BBA programmes offered by SRCAS are topped by BBA Computer Application. Merit-based admission policy is followed, and there is a sanctioned intake of 240 seats in the regular BBA programme.
There are five M.Sc. courses, viz., Computer Science, Information Technology, and Biotechnology. Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science admission is usually based on the candidate's performance at the undergraduate level and may be followed by an entrance test or interview.
The MBA course considers TANCET scores while admitting candidates. Shortlisted candidates may have to undergo other selection processes.
Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science has Ph.D. programmes in computer science, commerce, biotechnology, and management sciences. Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science admission is through CET conducted by Bharathiar University, along with an interview. Students having UGC NET/CSIR-NET/GATE qualifications would be exempted from appearing for the CET.
