The Institute of Cost Management Accountants of India (ICMAI) has announced the CMA Final December 2026 exam schedule. The CMA Final exams will be conducted from December 10 to December 17, 2026, in offline, centre-based mode. The CMA Final exam will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The CMA Final December 2026 result will be published latest by February 5, 2027. ICMAI had extended the CMA Final December 2026 registration deadline till August 4, 2026. Candidates who completed their registration can fill out the examination application form online. The last date to submit the exam form without late fee is October 10, 2026, while candidates can submit the form from October 11 to October 17, 2026 with a late fee of Rs 500.
What is the CMA Final Exam?
The CMA Final exam is the third and last level of the Certified Management Accountant course. The CMA Final exam is conducted twice a year: Once in June and then again in December. The exam dates have been notified by the Institute. The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) conducts the national-level CMA Foundation exam in an online centre-based mode.
According to the paper pattern, the CMA Final exam is divided into two groups - Group III and Group IV. Each group has four papers. To qualify for the exam, candidates have to qualify for all 8 papers.

CMA Final (session 2026)
Registration of CMA Final is open throughout the year. Candidates interested in registering for the CMA Final Dec 2026 exam should keep the registration cutoff dates in mind. The deadline to register for the CMA Final December 2026 exam is extended to August 4, 2026.

The fee for CMA Final registration is 25,000 and can be paid in two instalments.

Only candidates who have completed the CMA Final registration and submit the CMA Final December 2026 examination form will be allowed to appear for the exam. Candidates can appear for one group or both groups in the same examination term. Candidates must submit the exam form online and select their preferred examination centre while filling out the form.
The last date to submit the CMA Final December 2026 exam form without late fee is October 10, 2026. Candidates who miss the deadline can submit the form from October 11 to October 17, 2026, by paying a late fee of Rs 500. Offline forms and demand draft payments will not be accepted.

should have qualified CMA Intermediate exam in the penultimate term

Note- Those who have passed CMA Intermediate exam in the December session will not be allowed to sit for CMA Final Dec 2026 session.

The CMA Final exam 2026 will be conducted in an online centre-based mode in more than 100 designated exam centres in the country. While filling out the CMA Final 2026 exam application form, candidates will be able to choose exam centre preferences.

ICMAI will publish the CMA Final December 2026 result latest by February 5, 2027. Candidates who appear for the CMA Final December 2026 examination will be able to check their results on the official websites- examicmai.org and examicmai.in. Candidates can access their CMA Final result by entering their registration number or roll number on the official website.
The CMA Final course is the last stage of the CMA programme. After clearing the CMA Final 2026 exam, the candidate needs to complete 3 years of practical training and a 15-day long modular training as well. The candidate will be able to apply for ICMAI membership once he/she completes these two tasks.
The ICMAI will release the CMA Final pass percentage along with the results. To qualify for the examination, candidates were required to secure a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and 50% aggregate marks in a group.

ICMAI has set up a minimum passing criterion for each paper of the CMA Final exam 2026. Candidates need to achieve 40% marks in each subject to clear the CMA Final Exam December 2026. Overall, candidates need to score a minimum aggregate of 50% in all the papers to qualify for the CMA final exam.
