What is Banking and Insurance

A programme in Banking and Insurance is developed as per the requirements of the finance Industry where students learn banking operations, regulations, monetary auditing, selling of financial products and services. The programme curriculum includes studies of economics, management as well as laws of financial sector. Students are also trained at Insurance companies and Banking Institutions during course internship. The management programme is offered at bachelor as well as master’s degree level. This specialised programme offers learning of mid-level expertise of the Banking and Insurance Industry.

Eligibility Criteria (UG & PG) of Banking and Insurance

For UG: Passed in 10+2 qualifying examination with minimum qualifying marks

For PG: A graduate degree in relevant stream from any recognized Institute/ University. 

Scope of Banking and Insurance in India and Abroad

·       As per reports of KPMG and IBA, Banking and Insurance sector has been flourishing at a rate of 2 to 4 % each fiscal year with financial institutions increasing 6 times in a decade. This creates increasing prospects for graduates of this field.

Jordan, the closest would be Business Analysis. The specialisations that you have mentioned fall under core specialisations. But to analyse any data, you need to have strong Analysis foundation from the perspective of a Managerial outlook. But you wabt to pick up one of the above mentioned courses, you can study any course but take up Statistics or Business Analysis as a subject if there is an option. And you can actually analyse the statistics of any of the above specialisations. But Capital market will interest you if Statistics and Analysis is your strong point.

If you wish to work in digital field and new technology like AI, AR then IT can be one sector you can look in.

Even there are external courses in this field wherein you can learn this technology.

According to me, IT is the one course which is booming in the world of digitization. But also see your interest and long term scope

see if you are interested for new computer related technology then you should gor for IT and telecommunication management or IT management course or mba in digital marketing , however not all organization give work from home opportunity, it depends on the company policy and whether they have the opportunity and infrastructure to avail the possibility to make employees work from home.
