Hello dear aspirant.
As you will be well aware of the fact that there are certain rules and pattern of JEE mains examination changed this year. So as of now the best books which you can easily understand and are very helpful in JEE mains exam are NCERT books . In addition to this solve previous years question papers and join any test series to evaluate yourself.
You will surely have better results.
Good luck
Hii aspirants
let me clear your doubt.
Here I am providing you a link for important topics you should remember while preparing for jee main exam
https://engineering.careers360.com/exams/jee-main
and as the exam is near i will suggest you to first go through ncert chapters well and clear your concept. if you have any doubt you can watch online videos and clear your doubt. And then solve previous year question paper and sample paper through which you will get detail about the question paper and time management.
I hope my answer will help you out
Hello Ayesha
Read newspapers everyday and make a note of the most important happenings under different heads. If you do this throughout the year you need not memorise compendiums which are rote and boring .
Read Political Science,History, Sociology, Economics books of class 12 and Class 11 CBSE in your free time. That is enough for static General Knowledge.Read it once or twice. These books are very interesting too. Please do not waste time reading other books because GK is anything under the sun.
This year there weren’t any legal maxims. But try learning the most common ones. Legal Reasoning is the most interesting section. Do not over stress. Just blindly apply the principle in the answer.
Class 11 Political Science book could help for Static Legal. Join an online course (Law School 101 or Sriram Law academy). Try to read some Important Articles.
Logical Reasoning can be aced with practice to some extent. But the presence of mind you have in the exam hall matters more. Know the basics of various areas in Logical Reasoning. Probably a week or two is enough for that.
Learn basic English grammar. Try reading comprehensions. Again it is all based on your luck and ability no matter how hard you prepare Reading Comprehensions. Do not waste time memorising words. If you really want to, go with Word Power made easy by Norman Lewis. Take time to learn it throughout the year.
Hello,
Apart from being well acquainted with JEE Main Syllabus, it's good to know about Important Topics as well mentioned below-
For Physics
Magnetics-One of the topic from which maximum questions are asked in the question paper.
Optics-It is a relatively easy topic to study.
Modern Physics-It is one of the important and scoring topics for both JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Also, candidates must check sub-topics such as radioactive decay of substances, nuclear fission and fusion, dual nature of matter and X-rays in detail.
Electromagnetic Induction and AC- Generally, numerical problems are asked from this topic.
Oscillation and Waves-Must study this topic in detail.
Electrostatics- According to the previous year trend, this is the most scoring topic as almost four questions are asked from it every year in.
Current Electricity- Another important topic which candidates need to cover. Ohm’s law, colour code for resistors etc are asked from this.
For Chemistry
Organic Chemistry- Purification and Characterisation of Organic Compounds, Some Basic Principles of Organic Chemistry, Hydrocarbons, Organic Compounds Containing Oxygen, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, BioMolecules etc.
Physical Chemistry- Some Basic concepts in Chemistry, Atomic Structure, States of Matter, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Surface Chemistry, Chemical Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Chemical Kinetics, and Redox Reactions and Electrochemistry.
Inorganic Chemistry- Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, General Principles and Process of Isolation of Metals, Hydrogen, s - Block Elements (Alkali and Alkaline Earth Metals), Co-ordination Compounds, Environmental Chemistry to name few.
For Mathematics
Permutations & Combinations
Definite Integration
Quadratic Equation
Conic Section
Differential Equation
Probability
Determinants
Application of Derivatives
Vector & 3D Geometry
Complex Numbers
Coordinate Geometry; Matrices in Algebra: Circle, Parabola, Hyperbola in Coordinate Geometry
Functions, limits, Continuity & Differentiability
Sequences engineers
Calculus; Definite Integral in Calculus
In addition to important topics for exam, you can also go through JEE Mains question paper with their answer which will be useful in your preparation process-
