Professors
Hello Aspirant,
MITS madanapalley has got an excellent infrastructure, classrooms and student facilities to provide a quality college experience for students. All the faculty members are highly qualified , all of them are Ph.D holders and very student friendly,so this will provide a rich learning experience. I am answering in general as you have not mentioned the particular course you are asking about. Now regarding placements it may vary with each course depending on the scope and demand ,generally the institute offers very good placements and in all departments nearly 80% of the students get placed in good companies. The MBA and Engineering placements are really good according to passed out student reviews. For B.Tech Pay Pal, Capgemini, HCL, Cognizant and TCS were the top recruiting companies and the average salary pack offered was 4-5 lakhs per annum, but a highest package of 21-22 lakhs have also been reported ,so the placements must be really good, but again it may vary with course .Next I assume you are asking about Presidency University ,Bangalore, the faculty is again good here , all of them are well qualified and friendly, majority of the faculty members are PhD holders. Coming to placements ,since you have not mentioned the course name, assuming it is for B.Tech, the students are offered god placements in companies like Wipro, Flipkart, Microsoft,Byjus etc. However the highest package was 12 lakh per annum and average package was 4.99 lakh per annum. Hence it seems like placement wise , this college might be better than MITS , and almost 90-95 students get placed every year. Based on the standard of the college , placements should be pretty decent in all departments. Therefore , MITS and Presidency are almost the same but based on highest pack offered , MITS might be slightly better, but you should search about the specific course you want to join and decide accordingly . However, you may search about both colleges in detail by going through their official website and various student reviews and decide.

Dear,
IIT Madras has been ranked as the number one engineering college for the past three years. The institute has 550 faculty members who have excellent knowledge in various fields of engineering, management, technology and sciences. This institute has 16 academic departments, a few research centres and around 100 laboratories on campus.
The curriculum of IIT Madras is designed in such a way that students can balance both academics and research. Many students of IIT Madras have launched startups through their innovative ideas. This institute helps students in incubating startups. Financial support is also given to selected students.
Some of the major international recruiters in IIT Madras placements were- Microsoft, Uber (US), Rubrik Inc (US), and Micron Tech (Singapore).
The highest CTC offered was 1.33 Cr. Per annum, whereas the average annual CTC was around INR. 16.1 LPA .
Towards the end of the IITM Final Placement session, the students witnessed an overwhelming surge of placement offers as more than 246 companies visited the campus.
Greetings,
This answer is based on previous rolling assistant professor hiring trends from IIT Delhi itself, what they typically require is:
- Ph.D. and First class equivalent grade in the previous course/degree pursued with a good academic record throughout
- minimum of 3 years teaching experience (if you are a Ph.D. candidate then research paper publication would be an advantage)
- if your Ph.D. is done but have less than 3 years of experience in teaching then they'd even consider you for assistant professor grade 2 (higher pay scale)
these are the minimum requirements to apply there, rest is up to the selection board and the candidate's qualifications. Bear in mind it is all highly competitive.
I am attaching a PDF ad from IIT Delhi that mentions a lot more details regarding professorship and the job.

Good day!
Students get a good opportunity quite often to interact with both professors and alumni at AIMS IBS. AIMS alumni are the network of all the former graduate students who graduated from this college and got settled in different fields. Students find it more inspiring when they listen to the experiences of their seniors both in terms of studies as well as career choice. Our alumni meet once in a while and they come up with their new ideas and experiences and some students come up with the job reference also so that their juniors can be benefitted. Students meeting professors and alumni help in the overall functioning of the institute. After completion of their MBA course some students may have doubts in making the career choice and they may need guidance and suggestions. Our professors encourage students to meet them at any hour of need and clarify all their doubts both in terms of subject and also career. Our alumni also extend their help by clarifying the doubts of the students which they have connecting with the job profile and companies. During the alumni meet the students leave their contact numbers and email ids, so that students can contact them in the hour of need. Being in contact with the professors and alumni the students can get timely latest updates. They can get assistance at the time of placements. They are also free to at alumni@theaims.ac.in (mailto:alumni@theaims.ac.in) in case of any suggestions or queries. So, the students can be confident and can always have a good interaction with their professors and seniors. At times the interaction can be more formal like discussing in a group and at times the students can individually also discuss with them. This interaction would help the students in understanding the competitive world outside and prepares them in being more confident.

Hello Manisha!
You will not face any difficulties while interacting with professors during lectures or praticals, as they generally will use english as a medium of instruction. But you may face difficulties while interacting with patients during clinical rotations as hindi is not their first language and it is not a guarantee that every patient may oblige you to explain his/her problem in english. In some cases, you may not face much problem as many people in South India are well verse in English. But problems may arise in some cases too. You can attempt to learn the language(like how to converse in a basic level and some basic words and sentences) of the state you are studying in by the help of your friends. If you are studying in Bangalore, then it is not much of a problem as some people speak hindi as well as english there. Otherwise, you cannot do much about this problem but just learn to adjust and adapt with the situation. Everything has its pros and cons. So, make your decision wisely.
All the best.
Hello,
Yes you do have to take up extra curricular activities at least for 2 hours for guiding the candidates. There is no such list of colleges available but on their official side it is said that any college under the UGC in your affiliated to Mumbai University has to obey it and this would be included as well.
Hope it helps.
Good luck.
