Hello there,
If you are aiming for government colleges or central universities like University of Delhi, Ambedkar University and all. Then, the admission is based on the score achieved in CUET (Common university entrance test). The students that are eligible for CUET 2025 are those who had secured 50% or above in their class 12th.
The colleges that does not demand any entrance requires above 55% in 10+2 for admission. Your percentage is low, so it is going to be difficult for you to get admission. However, you can look for Private Universities and colleges whose eligibility criteria is close to your percentage.
Hello Aspirant,
In a 12th-grade repeat exam, no matter what Board of Examination (CBSE, ISC, State Board) the syllabus is same as it was when you took the regular exam. There is no change in the syllabus or curriculum. If it so happens that the syllabus is revised and a new curriculum has been prescribed, the board keeps the same syllabus, the older one for all the repeat students. Thus whatever you studied in your regular Psychology exam of 12th, the same syllabus would come in your repeat exam.
Here's the whole syllabus of 12th grade Maharashtra Board psychology-

Hey There,
Both the colleges have their own merits and demerits. As for JMC (Jesus & Marry College), it is a all girls' college. However, it is not located in the North Campus Area. I'd suggest you that if you really want to study psychology prefer the course first than area, campus and events. And JMC is much better than DRC for psychology. And if you want to be a part of north campus, you can go got DRC or IPCW ( in civil lines, closer to north campus).
Good Luck.
Hello DU aspirant
The best colleges for BA. Hons Psychology are
1. Lady Shri Ram College (Lsr)
2. Indraprastha College for Women (Ipcw)
3. Jesus & Mary College ( Jmc)
4. Daulat Ram College ( Drc)
5. Gargi College
If you are aspiring to get into Drc, Jmc or Ipcw, Ipcw is best of all these. It's faculty is well-versed, promoting practical knowledge. Second best college is Jesus & Mary College. I'd say try for Lady Shri Ram College, it is undoubtedly best for studying psychology.
Yes, you do need to give the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) exam to get into Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR) in New Delhi for a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. The University of Delhi (DU), under which LSR falls, has mandated CUET for admissions to all undergraduate programs since the 2023 academic year. This includes B.A. (Hons.) Psychology at LSR. You need to register for the CUET exam online at the official CUET website. During registration, choose the relevant subjects for B.A. (Hons.) Psychology at LSR. It might involve subjects like Psychology, English, and a general test. The specific subjects and their weightage might change year-to-year, so refer to the official LSR website or the latest CUET information booklet for the most up-to-date details. Take the CUET exam on the scheduled date. After the CUET results are declared, you need to fill out the separate application form for Lady Shri Ram College (LSR) through the Delhi University portal. During the application process, you need to select LSR and your preferred program (B.A. Hons. Psychology) based on your CUET score and other eligibility criteria set by LSR. Selection will be based on your merit rank calculated using your CUET score and any additional weightage given by LSR (if applicable). https://university.careers360.com/download/ebooks/all-about-cuet I hope it helps!
