Hello,
As of now, there is no information from the officials regarding the grace marks. So it is difficult to tell if grace marks will be given or not. West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) conducts 12th class exams which are also known as WB HS exams. The exam authorities have released the West Bengal Board HS Routine 2022 on the official website. Students who have passed 11th class and studying in a school affiliated with WBCHSE can appear for WB 12th exams 2022.
Dear candidate
If you check the merit list preparation and admission process of past few years then though it is very hard to admit but with 50-60% marks in your 10+2 from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education will not be able to ensure your seat in B.Sc Mathematics course. As the minimum marks you should possess to take up B.Sc Mathematics is around 80-85%. But you can try for some other courses,
Good luck!!!
See if you have filled the form for the WBCHSE i.e., if the admit card for the WBCHSE HS examination is issued on your name, then you will be accounted as an external student when you will be appearing for the examination next year. If you have not filled for the HS-2022 then you will be considered as a Fresh candidate/Regular Candidate in HS-2023.
I would recommend you to contact your school authorities/class teacher/principal/Head-master/Head-mistress regarding this, and you will be provided the information regarding the formalities required to do so.

See the total marks for the WBCHSE is calculated on the basis of best of five. So if you fail in one subject which is your optional one, then still you will be consider to be passed the examination. The passing marks is 30% of the total marks in each subject. If you have practical subjects, then you have to secure 30% both in theory & Practical in order to pass the subject.

I hope this helps. Wish you a great eve!
For Engineering colleges admission in west bengal, the WBJEE rank only matter & nothing to do with the percentage of your 10+2. If you want to take admission in the General degree colleges, through Merit then while the institute assigns the Merit score, the previous year students gets some reduced percentage. But that's not at all the case for the WBJEE score accepting colleges. So if you are going to take admission in Engineering colleges, then only your WBJEE score will matter.

Hello aspirant,.
I hope that you are doing absolutely great.
With reference to your above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that there are no criteria that your class 12th percentage will decrease by 5 % if you take a drop for 1 or 2 years. This is just a rumor.
You can take admission in West bengal Engineering Colleges if you clear your WBJEE Examination.
