Dibrugarh University (DU) was established in 1965 and is a public co-ed university that offers a wide variety of courses to its students. DU Dibrugarh has more than 18,000 enrolled students and has more than 300 faculty members. The campus has a size of 500 acres. DU Dibrugarh has been recognised by the UGC and has been accredited by NAAC with an ’A’ grade. As per the NIRF ranking 2020, the university was ranked 84th in the university category. In the NIRF rankings of 2021, the university has been ranked 38th in the pharmacy category.

DU Dibrugarh courses are 99 in number and are available at the diploma, UG, PG, and Ph.D levels. DU Dibrugarh courses are available with many specializations. Many facilities are also provided to the students and the staff by the university. DU Dibrugarh facilities include medical facilities, hostel facilities, sports, library, WiFi, IT infrastructure, guest rooms, etc.

• Health and Sanitation Club - This club spreads awareness regarding the importance of proper sanitation and hygiene among the students.

• Nature Club - The nature club of the university is responsible for making people aware of the importance of environmental conversation and also conducts plantation programmes.

Dibrugarh University Courses

The university offers courses at four levels. Dibrugarh University courses are offered at - diploma, UG, PG and Ph.D levels. A total of 99 courses are offered by the university. The university offers admission to courses belonging to various streams. Humanities, science, commerce, management, computer application, etc are some of the streams.
