Several things matter the most when coming to IIIT Guwahati Cutoff for JEE Main exam. IIIT Guwahati cutoff is released in the form of opening ranks and closing ranks. Various other factors influencing the IIIT Guwahati cutoff are listed below:
Each institute at the central level releases a cutoff based on the number of seats available for particular streams students choose at particular institutions or colleges. The category-wise cutoff is released for the students according to reservations.
The colleges/universities receive applications for a particular stream, and the cutoff is released in the form of ranks wherein the closing rank is released once after the reserved seats for particular categories are filled. The more the number of students the lower the cutoff and the competition for the particular branch.
As the number of students increases rapidly for the JEE Main, the cut-off depends upon the higher the scores acquired by the students, the lower will be the cutoff in the merit list.
Every student applying under a certain category has seats reserved for the particular branch. The allotment of seats is closed based on the seats available which are being filled by the students.
As the competition increases among the students when the paper is tough obviously, the score acquired by the students will be less, and higher will the cutoff rate.
