Scb means STATE CENTRAL BOARD. it is 1 available way from the 3 possible to get into BS_MS dual degree course at IISER. SCB is a pattern followed for getting into IISER. it's like top 1% people from Each board get a chance to be into IISER and each state and board is given priority. For example) if Maharashtra board has cutoff 90% for 12th and MADHYA Pradesh board has 71% for the same. Then top 1% people from each state are allowed to apply for IISER APTiTUDE test and 5% relaxation. Is given to reserved people.
Thank-you.
Hello,
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research(IISERs) are a group most prestigious institutes in India in the field of science and these are called IITs in the field of science. They provide high quality of science education and research in India. These group they offer a 5 years degree and these institutions have been in a shade for a lot of time because they are a bit lacking in their primary purpose of existence.Firstly, they followed the ground rule of not letting all the students who are interested in science ,to pursue a degree in engineering stream and they succeeded in doing so.After the completion of the IISERs 5 years degree you will be pushed into many job opportunities and if our are interested in research you could stick on with it and be a part of research and development and could work as a scientist and if not you even find lot of fields greedy at you.You could be engaged in the teaching where you could train young brains for JEE and you will be paid a lot in these fields. You could even get into management department by pursuing a MBA course in any prestigious institution. So that is it . I think this content might clear your doubts .
