    This Programme combines the practical components of design and product development with business skills. It is ideal for students who are more interested in the management and retail side of the industry, freelance and independent designers or aspire to become entrepreneurs. The programme is designed to gain an understanding of merchandising operations from the industry perspective, along with the basics of fashion elements and principles, technical and constructional aspects of apparels, fabric and trim study. The curriculum focuses on specialized skills in the area of design principles, Consumer Behaviors, Product Development, Merchandising strategy, Buying, Sourcing, Planning, Costing, Pricing Apparel Production, Quality systems, Forecasts, Trends, Visual Merchandising, and Sales. Emphasis is placed on Soft Goods, Fashion & Lifestyle-oriented products.


    Eligibility Criteria

    This program is open to students on completion of 10+2 or equivalent, in any discipline, with minimum 45% marks.
