Admission Process 2021
JECRC University offers admissions to the candidates based on their academic records, national level entrance tests, or interviews etc. The University offers many programmes for the students such as undergraduate (B.Tech, BCA, BBA, B.Com, BHMCT, B.Sc, BA, B.Des, BVA), integrated (BA LLB, B.Sc LLB, B.Com LLB, BBA LLB, B.Sc ABM), postgraduate (LLM, M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc, MBA, MSW, MBA, PGD) and doctoral (Ph.D) courses in Engineering, Management, Law and Sciences. Admission procedure to various courses are given below:
For Undergraduate Courses (B.Tech/BCA/BBA/B.Com/BHMCT/B.Sc/BA/BVA/B.Des):
- For B.Tech, candidates have to qualify Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main).
- Candidates should pass in 10+2 examinations with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised Board of School Education or equivalent.
- Eligible candidates should fill an application form on the JU website.
- Admissions will be done on the basis of the marks scored in 10+2 examinations but preference will be given to JEE Main qualified candidates.
- Final admissions will be offered after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
- For BCA, BBA, B.Com, BHMCT, B.Sc, BA, B.Des, BVA, eligible candidates should fill an application form on the JU website.
- Candidates should pass in 10+2 examinations with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised Board of School Education or equivalent.
- Final admissions will be offered after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
For Integrated Courses (BA LLB/B.Sc LLB/B.Com LLB/BBA LLB/B.Sc ABM):
- Candidates have to qualify Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).
- Eligible candidates should fill an application form on the JECRC University website.
- Candidates should pass in 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised Board of School Education or equivalent.
- Admissions will be done on the basis of the marks scored in 10+2 examination but preference will be given to CLAT qualified candidates.
- Final admissions will be offered after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
For Postgraduate Courses (LLM, M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc, MBA, MSW, MBA, PGD):
- For M.Tech, candidates should qualify bachelor's examination with at least 55% marks in aggregate. MCA/ M.Sc. IT qualified candidates can apply for this course.
- Eligible candidates should fill an application form on the JU website.
- Admissions will be done on the basis of the marks scored in bachelor's examination.
- Final admissions will be offered after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
- For MCA, candidates should qualify bachelor's examination with at least 50% marks with Mathematics from a UGC recognised University.
- For M.Sc, PGD, candidates should qualify bachelor's examination with at least 50% marks from a recognised University.
- For LLM, candidates should have at least 50% marks in LLB/5 Year Integrated LLB examination from a recognised University or equivalent.
- Eligible candidates should fill an application form on the JECRC University website.
- Admissions will be done on the basis of the marks scored in bachelor's examination.
- Final admissions will be offered after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
- For MBA, candidates should qualify CAT/MAT/XAT exams.
- Candidates should pass in 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised Board of School Education or equivalent.
- Eligible candidates should fill an application form on the JECRC University website.
- Shortlisted candidates have to appear for a group discussion followed by a personal interview.
- Final admissions will be done on the basis of the performance in GD/PI, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
- For MSW, candidates should pass in 10+2 examinations with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised Board of School Education or equivalent.
- Eligible candidates should fill an application form on the JECRC University website.
- Shortlisted candidates have to appear for a group discussion followed by a personal interview.
- Final admissions will be done on the basis of the performance in GD/PI, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
For Doctoral Courses (Ph.D):
- Candidates have to fill an online application form on the website of the University.
- Aspirants will be shortlisted for the written test on the basis of the application form.
- Further, the candidates will have to appear for an interview process.
- Teacher Fellowship holder/UGC/CSIR (JRF) Examination/SLET/GATE/M.Phil qualified candidates will be exempted from the written test.

First preference shall be on the basis of Merit in CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) / LSAT (Law School Admission Test) and seats remaining vacant, admission will be based on the merit in qualifying examination.
