• Candidates with valid GATE (for M.E.) and GPAT (for M.Pharm) scores are exempted from the entrance test

• Candidates applying for M.E. Software Systems have to appear for BITS HD

• After the declaration of the result, a separate merit list is released for the candidates applying through BITS HD and GATE/GPAT

• Shortlisted candidates have to appear for BITS HD counselling and give preference to BITS Pilani

• Seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of merit scores of the entrance test, availability of seats and preferences filled
