Come here to experience a 5 star resort life . All they have is an amazing campus everything else is worst. They have sports fields for almost every sport but no proper funds for equipment.(I have been a sports person there during my degree). Mess serves as one of the worst food you could ever find on earth and drinking water is not good.(I suffered from kidney stones after drinking water which they supply as "PURE DRINKING WATER") Classes are good but not the faculties. Almost 90% faculty specifically in engineering department just knows to read ppts to students that too downloaded from the net and edited. The worst part is you can't say anything as all your marks are in their hands. Hostels are good but the wardens are worst. You'll be treated as a criminal by those so-called "EX-army" men who will just pass orders which you have to follow and all they know about that order is "UPAR SE ORDER HAI YE HM KUCH NHI KR SKTE". Management is in hands of dumbest people. almost all of them are retired from the army and all they'll do is passing orders you can't even question them you just have to follow. Food from outside the campus isn't allowed inside so all you can eat is either that Bad food from mess or some overpriced things 2-3 outlets has. The campus is 40kms away from Jaipur city. And yeah placements are just a joke they do with us (students of Amity). You have to run to Amity Noida every time a company comes there. No conveyance by amity. There you'll know true discrimination when the only amity Noida students will be placed and 1-2 from other amity campuses (jaipur , gwalior, lucknow and gurgaon). And you can't even skip going there or else you'll be debarred from placements. in Jaipur campus, all you get is call centre jobs "RPO" and nothing. All good placements are off campus by student's hard work which they'll show as their own.

Good studies but complicated administration

Amity university is one of those premium institutes in our country where we are catered to not only good education but also to a good overall college life which includes good extra curricular activities and placements. Academic Curriculum: The curriculum is one of the best in the country. With it being inclusive of a mandatory choice of Foreign Language (you get to choose one among French, Spanish, Chinese and German), Basket Course (it is an interdisciplinary program that lets you choose subjects like Cooking, Stitching, Law, Governance, Business, Ethics etc.), Behavioral Science (in other words, Psychology. Why become a graduate if you cannot understand the way your mind functions?), Communication Skills (English, Soft Skills Training, Prose, Poetry, Interview and Group Discussion Tips - everything is covered) etc. Food: You have unlimited options to choose from. From Subway, Dominos and multiple canteen areas in every single block, to momos, chinese, mexican, rolls, desserts, chaats and what-not. Trust me, this is an area you’d never crib about here! Diversity: Most students at Amity University Noida are pretty well to do. This is a generalization. Around 95%. However, in this campus, you are likely to find people from different sorts of families. I believe this keeps you grounded. It is an important virtue - to be able to mingle with all sorts of people. This being said, it isn’t like people at Noida lack this. But like I said, majority! Also, as compared to Noida, there are fewer spoilt brats here. Very few, to be precise. Crowd: Find the right ones, and you shall love everything. Although I will not deny that not everyone here is classy enough. Placements: Brands like KPMG,Deloitte,ZS Associates and all come to Amity for placements. Amity assures a placement in professional fields (if you meet their eligibility) .However, "Good" placements are what Amity should focus on. Yes, I agree that the ROI is less and the fees could be reduced by atleast 35-40%, But if you work hard and develop some skills, you can easily land a placement.

University has Lipton tea stalls, Nescafe stalls, departmental store (where evrything could be found), fruit shop, okay okay type Mess, and two canteens for having different kinds of food. Placements for other branches are excellent except for Mechanical where it is about 30%. Hostel is very safe and is equipped with good furniture and WIFI. The college is located away from the crowded city in between the beautiful Aravali Ranges. Winters and rainy season can be ebjoyed the most. The University has a grreat football and cricket grounds having flood light installed and a kabbaddi ground also. It also has 3 tennis and 2 basketball courts.

Amity is a mess to stay in

Amity has best possible infrastructure amongst other campus of the country though I think they should be some facility for basic products. amity teachers are good in terms of their qualifications but NOT AT ALL SUPPORTIVE or INSPIRING towards the students in order to excite them to explore this branch of management. It is very sad to say such stuff for the college but the reason is no cooperation from college side. the main problem at amity is that MANAGEMENT is HORRIBLE. You are asked to do 45 days internship but you are given 30 days holidays to do so and there are many other examples so such shitty things.college life is full of shitty things that are of no use once you get into the industry. placement companies are the companies that are vague or are of no use to students such as target based marketing etc. hostel is the completely worse thing you can have with no facilities. professors are the ones who have studies things decade back are still teaching the same which is of no use to present world library have books of last addition say 2006 crowd is so diversified that you can never think off and you can never adjust with.fee structure is very high and extra charges on every stage are threat of middle-class people.

About College:

The Amity group of institutions or Amity Universe as it is known as, is one of the largest educational groups in India. It started back in 1991 with the first Amity School, while the Amity University was established in 2005 in Noida to begin with. Later it expanded to different parts of the country. Presently it has campuses in- Gurugram, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Raipur, Ranchi, Patna, Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Chandigarh, Delhi, Pune, Kochi, Indore, Hyderabad and Greater Noida. It even has a presence outside India with global campuses spread in- Dubai, Abu Dhabi, London, New York, Seattle, San Francisco, Singapore, Amsterdam, Pretoria and Mauritius. There are also several distance learning programmes. To help students with their campus placements and long-term career development, the university has signed a pact with LinkedIn which is the world’s largest professional networking platform.

There is much variety of courses that can be undertaken by students within the Amity Universe. Besides the conventional ones like engineering or management, there are full-fledged courses here on areas such as – Actuarial Science, Horticulture, Anthropology, Applied Sciences, Interior Design, International Relations, Insurance & Banking, Marine Science, Materials & Devices, Health Sciences, Microbial Sciences, Yoga Therapy, Virology & Immunology, Special Education, Forestry & Wildlife Sciences, Sanskrit Studies, Rural Management, Real Estate & Urban Infrastructure, Public Policy, Public Health, Organic Agriculture, Nursing, Performing Arts, Fashion, Defence & Strategic Studies, Clean & Sustainable Technology, Nanotechnology, NGO Management, Fine Arts, Food Technology and Geo-Informatics & Remote Sensing besides a whole lot more. The Amity Universe also has a wing catering to all kinds of competitive exams. It has a distance learning hub as well. This facilitates both part-time as well as online education. An open learning platform has been developed to this effect.

There is an Amity University Press for publication of all academic and research material. So far more than a hundred patents have been filed by the students of Amity. More than 500 books have been written across diverse areas. 300 plus government-funded research projects have been executed by the team at Amity. More than 1200 case studies have been developed in-house. To top it all, there have been more than 6000 research publications that have emerged out of the Amity Universe. And beyond all this, Amity is also involved in several training areas. It works closely with the military as a finishing school. The Amity Universe is also highly committed towards the development of entrepreneurship. This is why the Amity Innovation Incubator is extremely active all over India.

The Jaipur campus of the Amity University was established in 2008. The classrooms here have been designed in an amphitheatre like style reminiscent of the Noida campus. Classrooms are fitted with LCDE projectors and As Jaipur is such a business hub, frequent industry interactions are organized by the Amity University- Rajasthan (AUR). Students have visited or been visited by via guest lectures corporates such as Bosch, Parel, HCL, Coca- Cola, MTS, NBC, Shree Cement and Pepsi. The AUR has also been accredited by multiple bodies such as the Council of Architecture, Bar Council of India and the Rehabilitation Council of India.

There is a lot of focus here on extracurricular activities, thanks to the setting with ample outdoor facilities. There are clubs for photography, fine arts, dramatics, golf, literary affairs, hiking, martial arts, sports, yoga, horse riding and most important now environment protection. The large auditoriums help in the conduct of several of these fun events. There is a fully equipped gymnasium within the campus. Along with this, there are other indoor sports facilities such as for sports shooting and billiards/snooker. Outdoor sports facilities are there for football, cricket, taekwondo and basketball. All sports are monitored by in-house trainers. The residential facilities are also well equipped, replete with a departmental store, an ATM and laundry facilities. There is even a water harvesting lake within the campus.

Amity has been a leader when it comes to forging international ties for student and faculty exchange programmes, especially in the USA, UK, Australia and France. Some of those partnering institutions include the likes of – Purdue University, Kent State University, Iowa State University, University of Texas- Arlington, University of Indianapolis, University of Birmingham, Colorado State University, Farleigh Dickinson University, Carleton University, York University, Northumbria University, Queen Mary University of London, Queen’s University of Belfast, University of Nottingham and the Newcastle University among others.

All this has massively boosted up the placements’ scenario here. Some of the top recruiters from the AUR in recent seasons have been the likes of – Asian Paints, Evalueserve, Naukri.com, ITC, India Bulls, IBM, ING Vyasa Bank, VIP, Ultra Tech, Ambuja Cement, Kotak Bank, Dish TV, RIL, Coca- Cola, Axis Bank, Ranbaxy, Airtel, Kotak Commodities, Genpact, Vodafone, Apollo Tyres, Dhanuka, Shree Cement, IIFL, Havells, Accenture, Bhushan Steel, Hitachi Metglass, CSC, Voltas, Bombardier Infotech, Samsung, Dell, HCL, ZAP Infratech, NIIT, One 97, Technosoft, Yatra Online, Volvo Eicher, Protivity, Google, Taj Group, iGate Patni, Cadila, Dr. Lal Pathlabs, Thompson, Spectra Force and Wipro among various others.
