It's good, but still needs a lot of improvement in terms of infrastructure. The hostel rooms are not fitted with AC, nor is there a bench to sit on across the campus. The structure is quite old in some buildings.

the infrastructure is quite old but well maintained. the new academic building section that connects the rotunda and clock tower is extremely pretty, and the classrooms there as well as in LTC are well designed. the only thing to improve on is the conditions of a few hostels and the conditions of the older buildings that are the FDs.

the academics are quite rigorous and it requires a lot of effort to get a good cgpa. since you are competing with the top minds of the country, the competitiveness is quite high and the curriculum is also structured quite rigorously in all departments.

the placements are one of the best in the country with extremely good ROI. mostly everyone gets placed and a lot of good companies have been recruiting from campus for a lot of years now. the practice school 1 and 2 system in the campus allows for good internship and PPO offers that aid the placement.

the fee is a little bit on the higher side in comparison to other elite institutions like the IITs but it is much reasonable and justified in comparison to any other private college that demands the same amount of money.

infrastructure at BITS Pilani is really good. campuses are well maintained, classrooms are modern and everything actually works, wifi is reliable, labs are well equipped, library is excellent. hostels are decent and neat and clean, campus life is revolves around campus itself as its kind of isolated, but overall no complaints

Comp Sci at BITS is actually kind of challenging but its fairly well structured. professors know what they're doing and curriculum is updated, covers mostly what industry expects. grading system is competitive but pushes students to work harder. doesn't fully prepare you for the market but provides a rlly strong foundation to build on

placements are very strong, Comp Sci students do really well, good companies come on campus, packages range from 15-40 lpa, and some even higher, avg is decent, placement cell is organized and BITS name brings in major companies

fees are around 5-6 lakhs per year, which is honestly very high for an engineering college, plus hostels, but given the quality and value of BITS and placements, its worth it if taken advantage of

campus is beautiful and lively, lots of clubs and fests, OASIS is a big deal. since its residential, you really bind with people. students are driven and fun to be around, faculty are approachable, location is isolated but that actually adds to the campus culture in a good way
