Admission Details

Locate the “Apply” button near the top of this page and tap on it. You will be presented with a registration form.
Fill out this basic form by entering the details in the required fields.
Click on the “Register” button to submit this form. You will now get redirected to a page with a “Thank You” message. Also, a verification link will be sent to the email address that you entered in the form.
Now access your email inbox and click on the link received in the message by the DOD, Manipal Academy of Higher Education. You will now be redirected to your “Dashboard” page.
At this page, you can see the Certificate in Fashion Design (CFD) application form option. Tap on the “Apply” button. An application form will appear.
Fill out the seven-section application form.
Tap on the “Make payment” button on the payments section of the application form. A payment gateway will open where you can pay the application fee securely.
After successful payment, your online application should be submitted to the institute. Furthermore, you will have to pay the total course fee and complete the admission formalities for final enrolment.

Application Details

The application form for the Certificate in Fashion Design (CFD) course is divided into seven different sections that can be filled stepwise by tapping the “Next” button. The first section is “Category Details,” where you have to choose your category and subcategory. The second section “Applicant details” requires you to enter your personal details like name, gender, email address, date of birth, and nationality. Also, you have to upload scanned copies of your photographs and signature.

In the third section, you need to enter your “Parent or Guardian Details.” These include their full name, mobile number, and email ID. The next section of the Certificate in Fashion Design (CFD) program’s application form is “Address Details.” You must enter information including your city, PIN code, address line, state, district, and country. Next, you have to confirm the program level, course, and stream you are opting for, and choose your present educational qualification.

Lastly, make the fee payment. After successful payment of the application fee, your application form will be submitted.

Evaluation process

There shall be written examinations for each theory subject in every semester. Also, two sessional exams and one final exam will be conducted in the one-year Certificate in Fashion Design (CFD) programme. Candidates will be constantly evaluated throughout the Certificate in Fashion Design (CFD) course duration through their performance in seminars, case studies, work assignments, quizzes and tests.

For the practical and design-oriented subjects of the Certificate in Fashion Design (CFD) training, summative and formative assessments will be done. Students will also be evaluated based on their final design collection. The end-semester exams carry a weightage of 50% and other assessment components like assignments, project, internal test, etc., carry the other 50% weightage.
