Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering is four years (8 Semester) full-time undergraduate engineering course offered by Panjab University, Chandigarh and approve by AICTE. The undergraduate curriculum is broad based and is designed to introduce the students to a wide range of problems encountered by students in the field. A number of elective subjects are offered to enable a student to study the area of his special interest in depth. Students are given practical problems of different areas as their projects and practical training are a part of the courses aimed at familiarizing the students with actual problems. Admission through lateral entry in 2nd year of degree programme is on the basis of merit of PULEET, entrance test conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Required Criteria based on Class 12th/Equivalent qualifying examination
1. Language
2. Physics
3. Mathematics
4. Anyone of Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/TechnicalVocational Subject
5. Any other subject. Only those candidates are eligible who have passed class12thwith at least 60% marks in aggregate (55% in case of candidate belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Persons with Disability (PwD)/Backward Class) in the above subjects taken together.
The academic qualifications as prescribed in Information Bulletin and Application Form of JEE (Main) Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in the last two years; or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in the current year are eligible to appear in JEE (Main). Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in Class 12th /qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing JEE (Main). The candidates who have taken four subjects are not permitted to write JEE (Main) and if such candidates appear in JEE (Main) by furnishing wrong information, their rank/result will not be declared. JAC is following the same eligibility conditions as adopted by Central Counseling board.
