The overall experience was good.

Life was amazing but infrastructure was limited and teachers could have been more motivating. Though, now improvements are being made. Moreover, at our time placements were very few due to recession. The best part was that there were many groups in college giving chance for all round development. Also, sports are good.

CCET college is affiliated to P.U. and comes under Chandigarh Administration. You can get admission here easily by passing JEE mains. Now coming to the Internal part of College : Faculty are mostly that were on contract basis some are ever very good but some are very dumb like they don't know basics of their subjects. Attendance System is there 75% Compulsory. Hostels are of very poor Quality. Student Exposure is the best thing here, Number of clubs are there jo go and enjoy your life. Library has Not quality books and Librarian keeps on shouting on children and gossiping. The campus is small and Limited. About Placement, mostly IT Companies with Avg of 3.5-5.5 Lakhs package visits.Infosys is a mass recruiter. The quality of students is too good you'll find that although the college is Avg or little above but Children there are good Knowledge and same as your thinking. Fees are Affordable, Govt. Institution.

College is good in all aspects like placement, infrastructure, faculty etc.placement is somewhat less but as everyone knows that placement depends on oneself but not on college. It matters what you have learnt not what the college has taught you.The faculty is good in CCET as all the professors are p.h.d and the college also has hostel facility in which the mess food is not too good but the hostel life is like this that you are definitely going to miss it. College campus has free wifi.CCet degree is given by Punjab university and admission in the college is done by JAC.

Infrastructure is fine but the faculty is not so good there are good lecturers but not all of them are good, and what should I say about placement, even the civil engineering students are going in Infosys what the heck is this? The hostel and college life might be fun if you have good friends but not all the time since the exams will be scare you as some lecturer's don't give marks even if your answer is right and if you go to them to increase marks they deduct them and some faculty members also do partiality.

The college life is awesome if you are enrolled in club activities. Infrastructure is good, while a new building has been inaugurated. The faculty is very good but with a change in policies, new faculty is joining which is said to be excellent. There is never stressed out the environment and staff as well as HODs are very co-operative.

CCET - One of the best choices of your life

Posted on 29 Oct' 15 by Deepank Singh
Batch of Jan. 1, 2015 | BE Electronics and Communication Engineering
CCET, as its acronym-ed, is one of the best colleges of Engineering in Punjab. The course structure is a bit rigorous but you will enjoy the learning process throughout the years. Just make sure you keep enough attendance to attend the exams. The college is really strict when it comes to attendance. The placement of the college is worth mentioning with big companies visiting the campus every year. Adding to that, if you are taking up this college make sure that you are a part of the non academic activities as well. It provides tremendous learning throughout.

My experiences in the college have been amazing. It is a true value for money college. The semester fees is approx 25k that accounts for 2 lac fees in total, whereas the placements one gets on an average is 3.5 lac which is a great proposition in itself. Overall, the College has excellent infrastructure with on campus hostel facilities. Thus, no worries for accommodation also. A must join if gets converted.

This college comes with the reputation of being affiliated to Punjab University. Placements are fine but need attention in case of Mechanical and Civil branches. Yes, Placements are booming with consultancies coming in, and offering roles to mechanical and civil engineers as well. So, it is my sincere advice to talk to the seniors before taking admission.

If you really want to have fun with learning, this college is apt for your graduation. Dramebaaz Club is a must join in this college. CSE branch is tremendous and others too. Location wise it's the best because it is situated inside the city. Academically, faculty is well qualified and placements are also fine.

Excellent location of college so you will definitely enjoy your college life in chandigarh. My experience with faculty is a mixed bag, most of them are young and hence lack practical knowledge. Placement is average for mechanical stream and varies year by year. Infrastructure is average but can see a positive change in the recent past. No lack of funds as it is a government college but you have to sweat it out to avail it.

It's an average college

It is an average college with strict rules and regulations. It should focus more on placement and its infrastructure. Moreover, the faculty should have pursued higher education and then appointed. Overall quality of education provided is a little less than expected.

A Good Deal

A very lively college, with numerous clubs to nurture a student, specially the Dramatics Club. Well qualified faculty and high rankers in JEE make this college a preferred destination. Quality of education is good. Placements were quite low the last year, but gaining momentum. Hardly anyone was left unplaced in CSE, with 15 lacs as the highest package offered this year. Best for CSE.

A good college with decent infrastructure, decent placement cell and good faculty. The location of the college is perfect. The diversity of students is not as good but quality is always there. Lack of companies visiting the campus is there but overall a good college to be in.

A lot has changed in 1 year. Well qualified faculty. Placements were bit low, but gaining momentum with the change in management, and best for Computer Science engineering, with 15 lacs as the highest package and hardly anyone left unplaced. Best brains take admissions into this college. Best for personality development, with numerous clubs and activities as part of the curriculum.
