The college infrastructure is average and provides the basic facilities required for students. Classrooms are spacious and reasonably clean, but some furniture and equipment need maintenance. The library has a decent collection of books, though more digital resources would be helpful. Laboratories have the necessary equipment, but a few instruments require upgrades. Wi-Fi connectivity is available in most areas but can be inconsistent. Sports facilities are limited, and hostel facilities are satisfactory with acceptable cleanliness and hygienic food. Overall, the infrastructure meets essential needs but still has room for improvement in maintenance and modernization.
The academic environment is good, with knowledgeable and supportive faculty members who explain concepts clearly. The curriculum is relevant and helps students build practical and theoretical knowledge. Regular assignments, seminars, and internal assessments encourage consistent learning. Most teachers are approachable and willing to clarify doubts. The library and study resources are useful for exam preparation. Although more industry exposure, workshops, and internship opportunities would improve the learning experience, the overall quality of education is good and prepares students well for higher studies and future careers.
The placement opportunities at the college are good, with several reputed companies visiting the campus every year. A fair percentage of eligible students get placed, especially those with good academic performance and technical skills. The placement cell is supportive and conducts regular training sessions, aptitude tests, mock interviews, and resume-building workshops to prepare students for recruitment. Internship opportunities are also provided to help students gain practical experience. Although the average salary package is decent, there is still scope to attract more top recruiters and increase the number of high-paying offers. Overall, the placement process is well-organized, transparent, and beneficial for students who actively participate and prepare.
The college offers average value for money. The course fees are reasonable compared to the facilities and academic support provided. Students receive a decent education with qualified faculty, basic infrastructure, and opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities. However, improvements in infrastructure, placements, and industry exposure would make the investment more worthwhile. Scholarships and financial assistance are available for eligible students, which helps reduce the financial burden. Overall, the college is a suitable choice for students looking for an affordable education, but those expecting excellent facilities and premium placement opportunities may find some areas that need improvement.
Campus life is average and offers a balanced environment for students. The college organizes cultural events, sports competitions, seminars, and club activities throughout the year, giving students opportunities to participate beyond academics. The campus is generally clean and safe, with basic facilities such as a canteen, library, and common areas available for students. Faculty members and support staff are cooperative and helpful whenever needed. However, there is room for improvement in terms of extracurricular activities, student engagement, recreational spaces, and campus amenities. Better maintenance of common areas and more frequent events would make campus life more enjoyable. Overall, the campus provides a decent student experience, but additional facilities and activities would greatly enhance the overall atmosphere and college life.
Infrastructure Lets start with good sides: 1. It does have everything you need in a college 2. Campus is beautiful and filled with greenery. 3.Has two basketball court and two badminton court, tennis court. 4. Has a gazebo...its a good spot to chill 5. Two canteen and one cafe(air conditioned) Now bad sides: 1. Most classes Doesn’t have ac ...so if you're coming for ug course....no ac for you. 2. Mess food is "mess food"...no hygiene. 3. If you're a male GREAT HOSTEL for youu(warm lights, cozy rooms, gym , courts) phenomenal but if you're a female sorry room sucks.(but will be same in few years) 4.conjested classrooms except one building.(MBA block)
This is where i will draw a line and i will tell you why A week before exam a new subject was added Our college took in a fraud company for internship(mba) The management sucks. Teachers are rarely good...most of them reads pdf but not all, some are great.
Highest package: 24 lpa Average package: 6lpa Lowest package: 4.5 lpa 80% are placed Best course to do is MBA If you know the game...like not only good cgpa and all if you are involved and active in all kinds of events the placement will not be disappointing
DBS Global University sits in the mid-range for private universities in India. UG fees total roughly ₹3.84–19.39 lakhs across the full course, while PG fees range from ₹1.68–14.8 lakhs. For context, BTech CSE annually costs around ₹1.93 lakhs, while MBA specializations run about ₹4.7 lakhs per year.MBA placement rates were around 89.5% for the 2025 batch, with an average package of ₹8.7 LPA in 2026 and a highest package of ₹28 LPA.Since it recently transitioned from college to university status, some rankings and placement figures come from the institution's own marketing rather than independent audits — worth verifying rankings independently (like NIRF, if listed) before deciding. Overall, it's positioned as an affordable-to-mid-tier option with above-average management placements, but not a premier national brand.
One thing this college makes sure is that it doesn't bore you. You get exposure, and learn a lot of things. There is a hell lot of clubs and activities to take part in. The location is not great....if you are living in a pg and you dont cook you are getting cooked cause the food is not healthy and hygienic. It is in selaqui. Its almost a village...it will take you 1 hour to get to the main city dehradun. The weather is great.
As much as i love this place i hate it equally...the college is not bad but its not great but the place is just great.
my college has a modern and well maintained infrastructure that provides an excellent environment for learning and personal development. The campus suspicious clean and surrounded by greenery, creating a peaceful atmosphere for students.
The college please vital role in providing a conductive environment for academic excellence and overall student. My campus is well planned. Spacious and maintained with cleaners and greenery. Classrooms are equipped with modern techniques.
The placement of my college place a significant role in preparing students for successful carriers by providing employment opportunities. It acts as a bridge between students and reputed companies by organising campus recruitment, career, counselling sessions, and industry interaction
The college offers excellent value for money by providing quality education, modern infrastructure, and wide range of academic and extracurricular opportunities at an , affordable cost
campus life at my college is vibrant, engaging in contribute significantly to overall develop
Overall, my experience at the college has been highly positive and enriching
As a student of DBS GLOBAL UNIVERSITY I WOULD RATE THE INFRASTRUCTURE 8.5/10 as the fabulous infrastructure looks alike And nice for the kids to join the AI powerd university for their better future a
The academics of our university is also outstanding as the teacher are also very supportive for students. And the teacher are also help student to continue their future in right path and for their futur
High placement rate. For those who wants their career in management and other feild mainly in business and AI powerd carrer and for those who are serious for their future and to acheive their oriented goal
The university is value added university as the student work and study foe their future in this money the college provide the fabulous infrasture and others and these are the reason to join the dbs university
Fabulous experience till date
Starting with the class infrastructure the seats are limited, rooms are big but they don't have proper seating arrangements for the number of students to be hold in that class, centralized ACs are there only in staffroom and libraries but classroom ACs don't work properly, it has proper equipments for agriculture department and btech classes. There are two libraries and they are spacious. Computers used are really good for Saap classes. Hostels are good according to price range nowadays and they are well maintained due to daily checks, WiFi connection is good. The message area is clean and hygiene is maintained by the message staff. Hostel rooma are cleaned regularly overall we get good facilities but it can be much better.
Right now I am a management student studying integrated BBA MBA. The quality of teaching is good. Yes, as DBS turned into university so it's curriculum has overall changed and updated and it includes all the recent developments. Management itself is needed in every organisation with hands on experience from my college and with proper skills and courses that are tought, makes you job ready for that field.
Being a CDC student mentor, the quality of placements that I see daily isn't that good enough for MBA students the avg package is around 3-4 LPA which is really very low. Around 75-80% students were placed, some were placed in very good companies, but the overall package provided is low. The highest package till now was offered to a MBA student who was studying marketing and business analytics, he got around 24 LPA . The placement process is easy but after placements taking the NOCs are not because it becomes hectic for a student although college is supportive enough to complete the whole process in the stipulated time.
My course cost every year around 5-6 lacs including all the expenses and it's really higher than other BBA colleges but one advantage I have is that my MBA degree would also be included in that cost so 5 years in overall around 30 lacs would be spent for my overall education and I think I'm not getting my money's worth because the overall management isn't proper in the college.
Campus Life is great though it has a small campus but still students like it because we have so many other options to travel to near by places. There are also jamming sessions, many activities take place, all the festivals are celebrated beautifully. Every year we celebrate brand aid where each department create brands and sell them to the customers the highest revenue that any department can generate is the winner. So we enjoy those 1½ months of preparation and everything. We have fest. Student, teachers and support staff are really very helpful be it out seniors or juniors other than that people are genuinely good. The location isn't that good enough for handling emergencies because it's far from hospitals but overall the campus Life is great.
Not as such because I have already mentioned above about all the necessary things.
the infrastructure is nice for the students all the facilities are available for the needs and all students can get everything nearby hostels are very good for the students they take care of all the neces
The academics is really nice as they majorly focus on the growth of the students they majorly focus on students and to make them understand and help them grow for their career and they help them a lot
The placements are very good as they bring a lot of good companies and students can get placed at a very good package. They majorly focus on getting every student place and help them in getting good opportunities.
Yes it is value for money and the students can see the overall growth of themselves
The campus life is very amazing for students as it is very lively and events are very engaging
The campus is small and cozy, which is great because you never have to walk far to get to class. It feels safe and easy to navigate. The classrooms are clean and cool, and the library is a wonderful, quiet place to relax and study without any noise or distractions.
The teachers are very kind and actually care about you. Since the classes aren't huge, the professors know your name and are always ready to help if you get stuck. The rules about uniforms and attendance are strict, but it keeps things organized and saves you from worrying about what to wear every day.
If you are nervous about interviews, the college helps you practice until you feel confident. They don't just throw you into the deep end; they guide you toward jobs that fit your skills. You get plenty of chances to land a good, steady job without feeling lost in a massive crowd.
It is a safe financial choice. You get a good degree, helpful teachers, and a decent job at the end without paying the crazy, expensive fees of big city colleges. It feels like a fair deal for the comfortable life and education you get.
Life here is calm and sweet. You can easily make a few close friends and find quiet spots on campus to sit and talk. The hostel feels safe, and being in Dehradun means you get to enjoy beautiful weather, green hills, and clean air every single day.
DBS is a warm, friendly place that never feels overwhelming. It is perfect if you want a cozy environment, helpful teachers, and a good start to your career without all the stress and chaos of a giant university.
According to me, my experience at DBS Global University, Dehradun has been good overall. The university provides a positive learning environment with supportive faculty members who are approachable and encourage students to participate in academics as well as extracurricular activities. The campus is well maintained, and various workshops, seminars, and events help students gain practical exposure. The placement support is decent, although success largely depends on a student's skills, dedication, and preparation. Like every university, it has a few areas that could be improved, such as administrative processes and campus facilities. Overall, I believe DBS Global University is a good place for students who are willing to work hard, develop their skills, and make the most of the opportunities provided.
Good faculty, industry-oriented curriculum, and practical learning. The academic curriculum is well structured and focuses on both theoretical knowledge and practical applications. Faculty members are knowledgeable, approachable, and encourage students to participate in projects, presentations, and discussions. The university also organizes seminars and workshops to enhance learning beyond the classroom
Placement support is decent, but outcomes depend heavily on your skills, internships, and communication. Recent placement reports claim strong averages, though student experiences are mixed. The university provides placement assistance and conducts training sessions, mock interviews, aptitude tests, and career guidance programs. Several reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment. Placement opportunities largely depend on the student's skills, communication, academic performance, and overall preparation.
4/5. According to me, the university offers good value for the fees charged. The quality of education, supportive faculty, industry exposure, and learning opportunities make it a worthwhile choice. While there is still room for improvement in certain areas, the overall experience and opportunities provided make it a good investment for students who are willing to actively build their skills.
Active clubs, events, competitions, and a diverse student community.
DBS Global University, Dehradun, has provided me with a positive and enriching learning experience. The university offers a balanced combination of academics, practical exposure, and extracurricular activities that help students grow both personally and professionally. They encourage interactive learning through presentations, projects, case studies, and discussions, making classes more engaging and relevant to industry requirements.
If you are expecting a massive, sprawling university campus where you need a bicycle to get from one end to the other, DBS isn't that. The campus is relatively compact and cozy. However, they have done a lot with the space they have. The classrooms are promised to be modern, fully air-conditioned, and equipped with smart boards and projectors that actually work but sometimes they dont really tend to work especially the AC. The library is a nice, quiet escape with a solid collection of books. The main grievance among students is the lack of big sports fields; there is a small ground, but if you are a hardcore sports enthusiast, the tight layout might feel a bit restricting.
The academic vibe here is quite good, mostly because of the professors. A lot of them bring real corporate experience to the table, meaning you won't just be memorizing textbooks; they will actually explain how things work in the real world. They are generally approachable and happy to help you after class. Another big plus is that DBS bakes extra certifications into the curriculum, like SAP, SAS, or digital marketing modules. The only catch? The administration can be incredibly strict about attendance, and they are known to hand out heavy fines for things like dress code violations or missing classes, which can feel a bit frustratingly like school.
This is usually everyone's biggest question. The Career Development Cell (CDC) at DBS works incredibly hard, bringing over 350 companies to campus. (Why do i know this? Because i am a member of CDC) For management students, the average package floats around 8.7 LPA, with the highest packages hitting up to 26 LPA. Big names like Deloitte, EY, and Axis Bank do show up. However, you need to know the reality: the vast majority of the bulk placements are heavily tilted toward sales and marketing roles. If you are specialized in Finance or HR, you will have to work a bit harder and compete fiercely because those core roles are more limited.
Whether DBS is worth the investment depends entirely on your alternative options. It sits comfortably in the middle tier. It is significantly more affordable than the elite B-schools in metro cities, and because the average package is decent, most hard-working students manage to recover their tuition costs fairly quickly (a positive Return on Investment). But if you don't utilize the extra certification programs, or if you end up with a lower-end sales package, you might feel the fees were a bit steep for what you got.
Living in Dehradun is a massive perk in itself—the weather is beautiful, the air is clean, and the mountains are right there for weekend trips. On campus, life is pretty vibrant. There are always cultural fests, music events, and active student clubs keeping things busy. The hostel life is a mixed bag, though. While the girls' hostels are highly secure and the mess food is surprisingly decent compared to typical college food, the strict rules, early curfews, and the administration’s love for imposing fines can sometimes put a dampener on the freedom you expect from college life.
Overall DBS is a solid, practical choice. While the campus is compact and the administration is strict about rules and attendance, the ROI is genuinely good. If you focus on your studies, grab the extra corporate certifications, and make the most of their active placement cell, it provides a fantastic launchpad into the business world; all set against the beautiful, scenic backdrop of Dehradun.
The college infrastructure for the new building is great but old building lacks basic amenities also. The technical part has so much corruption and delays. Coming to living spaces, you'll get the best food compared to other hostel but incase of hygiene they rank first from below. The electronics are not at all maintained and AC's in classroom doesn't work. The hostel infrastructure lacks maintenance and if complained takes alot of time to get it repaired.
The college is moderate at academics. There are only 3 to 4 faculties who makes you feel that you are studying in college rest looks like your still in school studying basics that too on your own. It just makes you survive with basic knowledge of subjects and you'll forget your English, grammar, speaking skills, general knowledge and survival skills it's all bookish and has no exposure.
Depends on the favouritism of the CDC Cell and favouritism of teachers. The quality of placements are good and the average package is between 4 to 5 LPA and the highest is 7 LPA for all courses. 7 LPA went for MBA.
Not worth the money
The college is revolves around classes, very poor management and Events is the worst part, all events are based on discrimination as the winners are pre decided or based on the favouritism of the judges. And normal events happen once in a decade.
