Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM)

Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of three years of relevant work experience at the time of commencement of the programme. GMAT/CAT scores accepted.

Post Graduate Executive Management Programme (PGEMP)

Minimum 50% marks in bachelor’s degree with a good and consistent academic record


Should have a minimum of 5 years of work experience


Diploma holders should have a minimum of 10 years of work experience

Post Graduate Management Programme for Women (PGMPW)

Passed bachelor’s degree in any discipline


Should have a minimum of one year of career break and a minimum of four years of full-time work experience


Post Graduate Programme in Development Management (PGPDM)

Passed bachelor’s degree in any discipline


Should have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience


Should have basic knowledge of English and Computers

  • Candidates first have to meet the eligibility criteria.

  • After that, candidates have to appear for the CAT/GMAT.

  • Candidates must secure a minimum 85 percentile in the entrance test in order to qualify.

  • Next, candidates have to fill the institute application form.

  • Applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their profiles, which are sorted into two groups: profile-based (1st phase) and profile-cum-score based (2nd phase). 

  • Candidates are shortlisted during the first phase on the basis of academic records, eligibility cutoff in the entrance test, work experience versatility and achievements.

  • Shortlisted candidates have to appear for an interview.

  • The final selection of the candidates is based on composite scores, calculated while taking into account the applicant’s profile, academic record, entrance test scores, work experience (if any) and performance in the two rounds of group interviews.

  • They have to appear for the CAT/GMAT.

  • Candidates should first meet the eligibility criteria.

  • After that, candidates have to fill the institute application form.

  • While filling the application form, candidates also have to submit sponsorship/forwarding letters from the employers, complete employment proof, attested by gazetted officers and complete educational proof, attested by gazetted officers.

  • Shortlisted candidates have to appear for a test of reasoning, group discussion and personal interview.

  • Candidates having a valid score in Executive Assessment (EA), conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) are exempted from the reasoning test.

Fellow Programme in Management is a full-time doctoral-level programme offered at SPJIMR, Mumbai. The programme comprises three phases: coursework, master’s level, thesis proposal and dissertation phase. Shortlisted applicants are required to appear for two rounds of interview round. 7: Is it tough to crack interviews at SPJIMR for PGDM?

For SPJIMR admissions, shortlisted candidates need to appear for interview round which will be conducted in two round and not so tough to crack.
