The faculty members here are knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone comes with industrial experience too, and prepare the students accordingly. The course curriculum is well updated and in accordance with current industrial needs. The semester exams are not very difficult but require daily study.

Congrats on getting 11800 rank in the wbjee examination.

Getting a seat in the general category in the first round of the counselling shows that while choice filling and filling the registration form you may have wrongly chosen the category as general instead of your preferred quota. This has resulted you in the seat allotment in the wrong category.

To further change the reservation quota during the ongoing counselling is not possible, you can visit the official website of the wbjee and then check the norms and the procedures related to the counselling.

Muslim Sheikh belongs to the BCE category under OBC cast in Central list. They enjoy 4% reservation as there is no specific reservation for OBC A,B,C,D,E. Sheikh is a word which in Arabic language means elder. Commonly used to mention a elder of a tribe, a revered wise man, an Islamic scolar. In India members of kayastha community was converted to Islam, the bulk of community.of sheik originated from this converted community.
